Dr. Martin Hahn, MD

Dr Hahn has been my physician for quite a few years now and both his expertise and personal attention are above and beyond exceeding all expectations.

I have to have a colonoscopy for health maintenance . Dr. Hahn has always been pleasant and proficient practitioner!

Dr. Hahn performs an annual colonoscopy on me at the Beverly Hospital Endoscopy Unit (I have never gone to his office). He is thorough, knowledgeable, and very caring. The staff at Beverly Hospital are terrific. Last time I went, there had been a cancellation and my waiting time was a mere fifteen minutes from the time I arrived to when I was brought into the procedure room. My experiences with having IVs at Mass General have been terrible, but at the Beverly Endoscopy Unit the IV nurses are expert -- no pain or discomfort at all. The other nurses are friendly, cheerful, and competent. Having a colonoscopy is never pleasant, but Dr. Hahn and his staff make them as easy as possible.

Dr Hahn is the best doctor ever. I can't say anything but only that he is very caring.

Dr. Hahn knew I did not want to be sedated during my first colonoscopy. He took his time and carefully used water fusion and answered all my questions while I was watching the monitor of my large intestine. I could"t ask for a better doctor to perform this procedure. I am deathly scared of the drug called Versed. He addressed my concerns and I am truly grateful. Thank you very much the Gentle Hahns doctor! :)

I agree with the previous reviewer. Hahn's staff are horrible! I had received an appointment...the same way...just being told the date & time. My family moved and I lost the appt card. When I called to find out when my appt was, I was told "it's not my job to keep track of your appointments....that's why we give you appointment cards"! Unbelievable! Then, of course I missed my appointment. I received a call stating that dr. Hahn will no longer serve as my gastro dr because I miss my appointments. Not for nothing, that was my second appointment even seeing him and I was there for the first. Needless to say, I use my primary as my prescription writter for Nexium. Height of ignorance in this office!
