Dr. Martin Lee Immerman, MD

Trained in the old school method where women of color cannot make their own medical decisions..... Our daughter was breach and the only option was C-section. After doing research we found that rotation of baby was possible and no contraindications applied. We contacted Martin but refused to talk to us directly and stated he did not feel ok with doing the procedure. He did not provide us with another doctor who would either. Given the 50/50 success rate of the procedure, the fact that we had a one week window which after the success rate dropped we were forced to find another doctor and switch hospitals within weeks of delivery. Of course this was difficult to do but we were able to find several doctors willing to do the procedure at Methodist Park Nicollet. Our daughter was born via vaginal birth but not because of Mr. Martin who is more worried about his reputation and does not understand that women of color can make their own choices when it comes to their health. Yes we read and… understand that women of color face higher mortality rates and complications while given birth in this country and that a C-section would make such complications/risk more likely.

Extremely pleasant, thorough, answers questions patiently, stays current, & demonstrates no superiority complex. I highly recommend him.

What a surprise is be seen by a physician who has a good bedside manner. Dr Immerman was very good at his job and answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was inconveniencing his time. This kind of physician is hard to find these days. Well worth the wait. Way to go Dr. Immerman!

Dr. Immerman is the most caring, professional, thorough Dr. I have ever seen. He's just a regular guy but cares about you as a person, not just a patient. Would recommend this Dr to anyone, in fact, I have sent many to see him.

Dr. Immerman is the best doctor I have ever had. He has the best bedside manner ,and always put you at ease. He is very kind and professional. I also love his staff.
