Dr. Martin Edward Lederman, MD

Dr Martin Lederman was absolutely awful with my 3-Year-Old daughter. My daughter is anxious at appointments & takes time for her to warm up. He rushed every step. If she didn’t answer him right away, he jumped to the next test. He made comments like “Acts just like those 4-Year-Olds.. Same from when they’re 3.” she was just nervous.. she was doing a good job.. just didn’t give her a chance to play these tests/games. My daughter at one point said “Don’t yell.” she was saying that to herself because she normally screams at appointments but I’ve found a way to help her with that && this was the first time she didn’t scream… he seemed to be very offended by it, thinking she was telling him not to yell. “Am I yelling? I’m not yelling.” He then brought up eyedrops and I told him we’re not doing that, she’s not ready. Wasn’t even giving her a chance to participate with the tests & he wanted to jump straight to holding her down for eye drops. Not happening. When I said we’re not doing the eye… drops he immediately stopped the appointment & told us that we’re done. I felt like we were kicked out. He really needs to retire, he’s absolutely horrible with kids. I’m very proud of my 3-Year-Old. She worked really hard at controlling her emotions. She did amazing! She needs more practice/time with actually allowing them to work with her, yes.. but, she’s THREE and she’ll get there on her own time. I take how she acted as major progress & we will continue our search for a Doctor that knows how to act with small children who are anxious at appointments.

Dr. Lederman is incredible. I have been a patient of his since I was 6 years old and I cannot speak highly enough of him! His office staff are all also incredibly kind and attentive

Outstanding doctor

I have been going to Dr. Martin Lederman for about 10 years now and every visit is just as pleasant as the one prior! The facility is beautiful, extremely clean, and well-decorated. In both the waiting room and the exam rooms there are many options to help pass the time including (but not limited to) TV and a variety of toys. I even recall that when I was younger, my mom would bring my little brother along and he would enjoy playing in the waiting room! Each visit, I check-in at the front desk and then I am usually first seen by friendly Angelika (unsure on the spelling, sorry!). She does a couple of tests and checks the prescription on my glasses. After she is done, I usually wait no more than 3-5 minutes before Dr. Lederman walks in. He is always in good spirits, calm, and very caring. I always leave Dr. Lederman's office with a smile (even if he dilated my pupils...). Another perk, is that inside of the office, there is an optician named Robert. This makes for an easy… one-stop-shop to get glasses fitted! All in all, great place, great service, and friendly staff!

My son had strabismus surgery with Dr. Lederman. The results were amazing and the care was excellent. It's been several years since and it's hard to believe his eyes ever needed medical attention. I would recommend this practice to anyone, especially those with children who have strabismus.

In-house optometrist is pushy and manipulative. Prices on eyeglasses and lenses are MUCH HIGHER than regular store. Don't recommend buying glasses there!

Unbelievably rude; has no interest in what the patient has to say; acts as if he is doing you a favor by talking to you

My 5 year old is terrified of doctors, he cried the entire way to the office, in the office and then immediately stopped crying when Dr. Lederman was with him. His amazing ability to connect with my child and to perform the necessary tests without my son even knowing was incredible. Dr. Lederman is extremely knowledgeable, provided excellent information and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend.

Love Dr. Martin Lederman, he is great with kids and patient. My daughter's first visit she was just about a year old and is now 13, and my younger daughter also sees him.

Dr Marin Lederman is an outstanding doctor with exceptional credentials and experience. We were so lucky to have him early on in my son's vision development because of that my sons vision is nearly 20/20. I appreciate an old school type doctor who cares enough to give me advice and guidance. If you need a fluff doctor...he is not the man. If you want your child's vision to be the best it can be..Marin is the doctor!
