Dr. Martin K Melman, MD

A very special human being with values that are not easy to find in the medical practice in general.

Dr. Melman has been our doctor 20 years. He is knowledgeable, accessible and friendly. He has helped us through some tough times and remained on top of all our health needs.

This office was reminiscent of something out of the 70s., I agree that it seems nothing but an empty space with some very old furniture is not in itself a big plus but what bothered me more was the dr. did not seem sure of himself or his ability to diagnose. I worry for his patients (he treats older people) and I feel that they will suffer because of his lack of ability to make proper diagnoses and older people are generally unable to be proactive for their own care..This to me is so sad. I would not take anyone I care about to see this dr. who I think is on the verge of retirement anyway..find your loved one a great knowledgable dr..even if it means traveling a bit further or getting someone a little less friendly..your health is too important to put in incapable hands.

I did not care for this dr. at all. He seemed like he had not kept up on his medical learning and i am not agist, but i feel i would rather have a younger dr. or one who keeps up with his learning. I felt he was not as competant as i would have liked. The office was very old and not kept well and the staff was completley uninterested.

Dr. Melman is a wonderful, compasionate, caring doctor. I never feel like he is rushing me. He always takes his time and always asks me about my other family members when I go to see him.
