I was in a serious situation. Not only did I have colon cancer but also a soon-to-be blockage developing from the growth. Facing immediate surgery, I quickly went into action, consulting with three qualified surgeons. After meeting with Dr. Paul, my family and I knew without a doubt that I had found the surgeon that best fit my case. Not only did he surprise me by making sure that I was nutritionally sound before surgery, but, unlike the other surgeons, he suggested preventative measures to help ensure the cancer would not spread. Dr. Paul was calming, professional and took the time to be informative, thoroughly answering my questions. He eased my fears, due to his depth of knowledge, making me feel that the situation was under control. Throughout the entire process from pre to post surgery he was caring and attentive, generous of his time to ensure and explain the process to my overly extended family. With supreme planning, care from his staff and the caliber of Dr. Paul himself, I… was in and out of the hospital, and on my way to recovery and back to my life !

My husband and I have had several successful surgeries by Dr. Paul. We totally trust him and highly recommend this surgeon.

Dr. Paul's calm demeanor immediately put me at ease when I visited him regarding my cholecystectomy. He allowed ample time for questions which I know is not that common for doctors. He followed-up with a phone call a few days after the surgery and gave him his cell phone number in case I needed to reach him after hours. He definitely makes you feel like you're his only patient!

Dr. Paul has a kind professional demeanor that put me at ease during the stressful pre- surgery phase. He spent time to ensure that all my questions were answered. His pre-op and post-op office staff support is easily reached, and so is Dr. Paul for any concerns throughout the process. My gallbladder was removed, and 3 days after surgery I felt like I could go back to work, amazing.

Did the laparoscopic hernia repair in less time than most. Saved me some money in the process. That was an unexpected surprise - a good one at that!. . He is a talented surgeon who appeared to be genuinely concerned.

Superb surgeon; caring, attentive, skilled. I particularly appreciated meeting each member of his surgical team prior to the surgery. Follow-through was excellent.

Dr. Paul is wonderful. Very caring, thorough, and most of all extremely compassionate.

Dr Martin Paul is an incredibly caring and skilful surgeon and if you are in need of a surgeon on the DMV area I would urge you to seek out Dr Paul. His optimism about the positive outcomes also puts you at ease. I was in bad shape with an ileostomy and 14" square ventral hernia and with the assistance of plastic surgeon Dr Rao he has literally given me my life back. I cannot find enough words to recommend Dr Paul. 5 stars all round and more. The only downside is that my wife has fallen in love with him due to his consistent glowing manner. He is AWESOME.
