Dr. Martin Ira Radwin, MD

My husband has been seeing Dr. Radwin for 6 mths. After 3 yrs of being in and out of the emergency room/inpatient and his pcp does yearly colonoscopy finally referring us to Radwin my husbands Gastroparisis surgery is working for him. Botox injections into his pylorius sphincter. My husband has had 3 sessions of these which is suppose to last 6 mths will see. It has helped him. He no longer has the excruciating pain that he was experiencing. He still has alittle pain....but pain he can tolerate very well. My husband is very complex in diagnosing because he has heart problems. So after 2-3 yrs every 1-2 mths in and out of of the emer rm for pain and it not being his heart Radwin was able to find the problem. He now has been diag with Irritable bowel syndrome because his lower abdomen really hurts him. Radwin is a down to earth, very friendly and LOOKS at you when you are telling him your problems. He explains to you and takes time with you. I recommend him. Now let's see… what he can do with his IBS which we have a follow-up in Feb. Will update. ð???

I'm the same person who wrote the other review titled "clipped too much tissue." It's now several years later I think I was a little tough on him in my previous review. Though I did leave the hospital with pain (which may have been due to bloating the stomach for the endoscopy), and I did have some recurring pain throughout the years, the recurring pain has since stopped. Overall I'm just grateful that he found my hiatal hernia, because later I went through another endoscopy with a very respected doctor and he couldn't find it. But Dr. Radwin did find it and even photographed it, which is helpful as I plan for surgery, because I do want a hiatal hernia repair in addition to whatever other surgical technique I opt for to treat the reflux. Dr. Radwin is friendly and honest, and at this point years later I can see it was very beneficial for me to have had him do my endoscopy. I'm glad I went to him and would do it again but I now live out of state.

I was sick since I was little I saw Dr Radwin when I was 26. He was the first Dr after seeing many dr's that figured out what was wrong with me. I still see him he's been my Dr. now for a little over 10 yrs. I will not go anywhere else except to where he is at. He is located at the pioneer valley hospital

I have had problems with acid reflux all my life, even as a baby. It got worse after graduating high school so I went in. I got an endoscopy and he found inflammation of the stomach and stomach acid leaking into my upper intestine. He and his assistant doctor tried to pass it off as stress. Yes stress makes problems worse but I'm not stressed all the time. Nice guy, and probably a good doctor but I'm taking my stomach problems else where

He ran a scope down my esophagus to check for a hiatal hernia. He saw some irritated tissue and took a biopsy. When I came to, my stomach hurt approximately under the sterum. He was honest enough about having trouble with the obtaining the biospy, that he had trouble stopping the bleeding and had to put a clip on it. But I hurt when I left the hospital, and throughout the years I get a recurring pain in that area, which leads me to believe he clipped too much tissue. I'm about to have another doctor take a look at the area (without doing a biopsy). My concern is that having taken too much tissue away has left me susceptible to other potential problems or even cancer. Though he is friendly, I would not recommend him.

I was sick for a very long time at least since I was 11 years old. Ive been in and out of hospitals and seen many, many doctors with no results. I would be given excuses and told they didn't know what was wrong with me. Then when I was 26 I went and saw Dr.Radwin after being back in the hospital, he found out what was wrong with me. He was able to help me. Thank you so much for helping me find out what was wrong with me and helping me be able to get it under control after so long of being so sick.
