Dr. Martin Javier Repetto, MD

The “doctor,” Martin Repetto is just awful. He does not listen to patients, but instead throws ego and hubris in your face by telling you that he is a medical doctor and a board-certified psychiatrist instead of listening to what you are saying or answering questions appropriately and honestly. He’s very arrogant and you will see him about 3 minutes a day, which was fine with me, as even that was hardly tolerable. He’s only there to medicate you

That's his first response to any problems you have. I have bad reactions to medication, but if you don't comply to using pills, he will keep you in the Pavilion until you agree. I was held there under him for 3 extra days because of medication problems with him. I expressed concern, and yelled at me to leave his office. He's a monster, not a doctor.

He is the worst doctor I have ever been "treated" by. In 10 minutes of the first visit he claimed that "I didn't know myself"! Well, at 67 yrs. old, that was insulting to say the least.~ I realized after 3 days of 10 minute visits, I had to agree w/ everything he said or he was going to make sure the "Pavilion" was going to keep me as long as possible.~ He changed and messed up all the meds I have been taking, prescribed by a "real" doctor. This is one scary person! Stay away from him!!

I saw him for 4 years and told him recently I wanted to slowly wean off my meds. He initially took me off too quickly which caused withdrawals. I jasked to be weaned off more gradually and he accused me of not wanting to go off my meds. When I tried to explain to him what I was feeling he cut me off and asked me what was my point. I was shocked. Then he condescendingly told me if I wanted to stay on the meds that I could find another doc. I reminded him that it had been MY desire to go off the meds in the first place and I didn’t feel like he was listening nor cared how I felt. He then got defensive and said how dare I accuse him of not being a good doctor. He also rolled his eyes at me. When I called him on the rolling his eyes his eyes he got even more agitated and told me I could find another doctor. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by anyone. My anxiety went through the roof. I left crying. He didn’t care. He shouldn’t be in mental health. Stay Clear!

Dr. Repetto has been my psychiatrist for a couple of years. He’s very good about explaining the medication that he prescribes.

Dr. Repetto has to have to worst personality of any doctor ever. He is beyond rude and arrogant. There isn't a compassionate bone in the guys entire body. He may be knowledgeable but he is a jerk if every sense of the word. He has such a inflated ego that he looks down on all the patients he sees. I was a patient at the Pavillion and he asked me if I had taken the drug Seroquel. I politely answered Yes, and that my psychiatrist had pulled me off of it. His reply was "I can tell you are going to be a difficult patient and I can't help people who don't want to help themselves." I'm thinking how in the world did he come up with that when I was just responding to his question. He snapped at me when ever I politely asked him anything. I was scared too death to ask him anything about my treatment plans. I was so upset with my care by him that I asked to see a different psychiatrist during my hospital stay and they denied it. I found out through the patient advocate… who I went to with my concern about Dr. Repetto. I found out that according to him Dr. Repetto works for the company that manufactures the drug Seroquel and actually goes around and speaks about it. He supposedly works for the company to promote it. Even some of the workers at the pavillion said Dr. Repetto had actually prescribed the drug for them and they were on it. I am not making this up. I was told this. This seems unethical that this Dr. is pushing a drug that he supposedly is getting paid to promote. Anyway, during my stay I did agree to take a small dosage of Seroquel just so I could convince Dr. Repetto that I would cooperate so I could be released. If you made him angry he was liable to keep you longer. You do things his way or else. You don't get to work as a team with him on your treatment. You are scum to him and he is the almighty no it all. He may have tons of education and knowledge. But, he is a extremely heartless individual.

Listens to his patients. Very kind and works with me to give the best care possible! He is well rounded and highly educated about psychiatry and psychology fields.
