Dr. Martin P Ross, MD

Dr. Ross knows more about Lyme's disease than any Dr. on Long Island which is sad because Long Island is a highly tick endemic area! He has been treating me for 7 months and I am finally recovering! He rocks!

I had been to see multiple doctors for some 20 years trying to diagnose an ongoing "illness"... at best it was the "flu". As the symptoms became more severe I was referred to Dr. Ross. In one visit/consultation of approximately one hour he suggested that I had either heavy metal poisoning or Lyme disease. With blood and urine tests it was confirmed that I indeed had... both. I continue to use Dr. Ross if for no other reason he took the time to listen and diagnose a serious condition that I had for some two decades. Proper treatment was prescribed and completed. Best doctor I have ever been to in my 67 years on this planet!

I tested positive for Lyme by a test from IGenex, after being referred to it from a friend suffering Lyme. Canada is a complete joke to try and get help for Lyme, so we went to Dr. Marty Ross, after the same friend said he was the best. He seemed quite knowledgeable in treating this disease, so when he threw a barrage of meds at me, I didn't argue, because I thought he knew what he was doing. I was taking Dilantin and mentioned that to him several times. I ended up in bed in the dark for 3 days because I couldn't move. I ended up getting a rash and was admitted to the hospital. Turns out the combination of drugs gave me a severe allergic reaction. I called him but had to leave a message. He called back after a few days. He didn't even know my name, he denied any wrong-doing as he did not prescribe me the Dilantin I told him about, and then tried throwing more drugs at me, after a 15 minute conversation that he tried charging me over $100 for. I have not heard from him since and that… was 3 months ago. the guy is an arrogant goof. Don't waste your time.

Dr Marty Ross is one of the most compassionate and dedicated doctors that I know of. He is so respectful of my illness, it's limitations, and he is very accomodating, working within my financial limits. He read my medical history prior to seeing me, which is the first time any doctor has done this, so that my appt time was spent asking me detailed questions. He is so clear and communicative. He explains clearly and concisely why he uses specific treatments and is open to your questions and concerns. He corrected the medication protocol that another doctor had given me and within a few weeks I was feeling so much better. His upbeat humor helps keep me balanced. I honestly could not have asked for a more caring doctor. If I have a question or concern, i can email him and he gets back to me in short order.

I have never been to a more thorough, sensitive and smart doctor. If you've gone everywhere else with no satisfaction or diagnosis, don't give up until you've given this scientific, holistic doctor a chance. He's made a great difference in my complicated medical history.

Well he has helped me turn my life around. Granted it has taken my involvement too, a new concept for me coming from the baby boomer generation. My health is better now than it was 20 years ago and even before I ever even had lyme disease! I've seen other so called 'lyme literate docs' of varying degrees (MD/ND/DO), including across the country, Dr. Ross has left every specialist, every Internist, every single other health care person eons behind where he is at in his ability to help and have absolutely fabulous outcomes and a return to life after lyme. Who would have though? Right?!? Anyway, I could not recommend him more, it is worth traveling ANY distance to see him ESPECIALLY if you have lyme disease.

This doctor is the one who helped me get out of years of bed. I have been seeing him for 4 years. He did for me in two years what other doctors could not/would not do in 10. In my experience, the Dr.s who have helped me were the ones who didn't need to listen to the problem for an hour visit after visit. They heard me the first time and then fixed it. It startled me when I experienced this, after years of thinking good doctors were the ones who listened. No, good doctors are the ones who don't need to listen, they are too busy working to solve the problem.Dr. Ross is exceptional in that he can work with several problems at once, has a drive to fix the problem every bit as strong as the patient who suffers daily from it, and despite his empathetic nature he manages to carry on treating the most difficult patients around AND get them better. Dr. Ross brings every possible resource to his patients as an option. He does what good Dr.s should do, educate and offer options. He also respects… the patients decisions. He is a human being and if you treat him with respect and dignity he will treat you the same. Any patient should have half as much compassion for him and his office staff as they have for us. Dr. Ross is incredibly intelligent and experienced, a truly special human being, and the shining example of what a Dr. should be.

Dr. Ross and the people and resources at his clinic helped me regain my health after it was slowly deteriorating over several years. First he was able to give me a diagnosis which no one before was able to do, let alone help me get back to where I was before!!!! I am young so I am very happy to be feeling energetic and myself again. Thank you so much!!!!

I've lived in this area long enough, and with health issues that no one could figure out, and the one doctor that was here to see, the office manager (owner) made it impossible to get in. It has been a long road back to health, but after 15+ yrs of not having it, I knew it would be. So much gratitude and blessings to Dr. Ross and everyone at The Healing Arts Partnership! There are even more options now, I've checked them out too, curiosity and to be sure at the beginning, it was a lot of leg work - I'm glad I did it. In doing so I had NO question as to which Physician and practice group/clinic I would be going to. I hope this helps some of you out there, and saves you the leg work and how much energy that takes up front when you are not well. Blessings to you all.

Dr. Ross is knowledgeable, but that's about it. Even though you fill out a bunch of paperwork with tons of questions, he asks you the same questions w/out even looking at the answers you gave. His staff is rude and unhelpful. You pay through the nose to get help with your illness and get treated so distastefully. There are other doctors who actually care about you and getting you well. Save your money.
