Dr. Martin Joseph Safko, MD

The first experience was with the doctor on a consolation. After an hour of waiting I consulted with the MD about the discoloration, he said he would use liquid nitrogen. He said it would leave a blister but eliminate the discoloration. I had to come back due to travel and not wanting the blister. The next appointment , I was charged the co pay again and the procedure was about a minute. He brought in the IPL lady and recommended IPL for my face. I followed his advice and booked an appointment. Note, the liquid Nitrogen did not do anything and the MD did not even check to advise why. The lady who offers the IPL was terrible. She did not look at my face for treating areas and was training another lady. She offered no mirror or consult. She gave no directions and did not even apply sun screen or offer wipes for the gel she slathered on my face. This was my first visit and she was done in less than 5 minutes. She asked the trainee if she would like to "try" and thankfully,… the trainee said no. This 5 minute visit cost me $150.00 and did absolutely nothing. Having experience with IPL I have never seen less than 15 pules in treating both a face and neck. Completely unprofessional, a waste of time and money. This is a business driven by the bottom line as a faceless institution without regard the the end goal of the patient. I will say, the office manager - I believe Ashley is fantastic and would thrive at a company that values service.

It takes an act of Congress for me to get out of the office during the day. It's just NOT that easy. So why is it that I can manage to respect your time and show up 10min before my appointment time yet 2x in a row you are over an HOUR late seeing me? I have to say the signs in each of the exam rooms advising patients that out wait times may vary and that "if you are unable to continue your wait, please let us know and we will reschedule your appointment." And right next to it hangs a sign requesting me not to answer my cell phone until AFTER my appointmemt. WTF?? Did I seriously just see you demand I respect your time in the same breath you completely disregard mine?! [Turd]

Office staff very unprofessional and rude. Screams at clients , horrible follow up and Dr. gets angry when wanting to try more holistic route. Office Manager Ashley and Rachel hangs up in your face and talk about patients in a negative ways in front of other patients.

I am happy to have Dr. Martin Safko as my doctor. I recommend him to friends/relatives as appropriate.

The first time I met Dr. Safko was with my wife a couple of weeks ago to take care of a rash spreading out across my wife's body. Yes I think his staff could improve on their manners....A LOT !!!!!! But Dr Safko seemed to be professional in all respects including when I asked him to take a look at a cyst on my back and would HE be able to remedy me of it. He jokingly replied if I had an address for it (since I've had it for awhile) to which I replied "no, but I had built it a mailbox so far"!! Anyway, feeling pretty good about our first visit I made an appointment to see HIM and have cyst cleaned out and removed. My appointment arrived I paid 200.00 up front(no insurance) waited the normal 45 min. or so and was showed to a room and waited. A nurse showed up,stuck me half a dozen with an anesthetic (which hurt) in my back and proceeded to scrape all the cr*p out from underneath my skin through a small incision SHE made. Let me tell you I've had plenty of lacerations,dental… surgery,stitches that would put Frankenstein to shame but have NEVER, NEVER felt a pain as excruciating as what I felt that afternoon!!!!! That was from 3:10 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. when I finally told her I couldn't take it any more!! She packed it on a Thursday and made an appt. for Mon. to finish. Went to pharmacy for antibiotics and pain meds.Was givin antibiotics but NO PAIN MEDS !!! Called them back got run around and was told the only pain med they would give me were Tylenol 3!!!! That crap doesn't work!! I called them back again and cancelled my appt. told them they hurt me and didn't know how to treat their patients and that this wasn't the end of this matter. An R.N.???? I paid to see Safko so I say "Where's the Dr"????

If you are looking for a doctor and staff that are rude and have no consideration for your timeâ?¦heâ??s your man! Always at least a one hour wait after your appointment time. Staff is very rude and unpleasant.

Great as always! He is very nice and caring when it comes down to bedside manner. Dr. Safko is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend him and his practice.
