Dr. Martin J Tuck

Martin J. Tuck, DDS, MS
Dr. Martin Tuck was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended dental school at the University of Michigan, from which he graduated with honors in 1977. Following graduation, he practiced general dentistry in Davison, Michigan, while teaching clinical endodontics at the University of Michigan part time. Dr. Tuck earned his Master’s degree in Endodontics from U of M in 1980. He moved to East Lansing and began practicing Endodontics in the spring of that year. He was one of the founding partners of Endodontic Specialists, P.C. in 1981, and has been practicing full time since then. During the ensuing years, he taught in the Graduate Endodontic clinic from time to time, and facilitated discussion in Professional Ethics for undergraduate dental students at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Tuck is an enthusiastic practitioner who believes that his patients deserve the highest quality of care, in a friendly, compassionate environment. He treats his patients as …unique individuals and attempts to tailor their care to meet their needs while exceeding their expectations.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tuck is a dedicated husband and father of two. He was married to his wife Suzanne in 1978, with his children Jeremy and Alison being born in 1980 and 1983, respectively. He enjoys woodworking, hiking, biking, and boating in northern Michigan. He has served his community in various roles, including:

Other church and school-related activities
Dr. Tuck has served his profession at many levels, being the former president of Central District Dental Society, and chairing various committees for the Michigan Dental Association. He recently finished two terms on the Michigan State Board of Dentistry, after serving as its chair.
