Dr. Martin Howard Ulshen, MD

Had one appointment and went over case history. Dr. Ulshen was slow to remember names of conditions, details we had already related to him. He was not very supportive of longer term breastfeeding, making a joke about it. Did a simple procedure but failed to identify clear physical markers of condition instead waiting for lab results only. Made us wait with our baby screaming for its mother as it came out of surgery and with a nurse asking her to come back as he went over the inconclusive results. He could have walked a few hundred feet down the hall with us so that we could be with our baby as he told us instead of letting him to cry. Then when results came in he didn't set up an appointment to go over the condition with us, just gave a quick phone call and said that yes he had an illness. Then after nearly two weeks had still not called in the prescription for our son's medication to treat it. No appointments or suggestions for on going treatment were made.

My experience with this doctor was as expected.No complaints
