Dr. Martine Anne Hutton, MD

We had a horrible experience and ended up leaving the group because we never felt listened to and Dr Hutton barely would listen or examine my baby even during check ups

My child had a fever and it was very similar to her prior utis. Dr Hutton would not do urine test and instead told me it was a virus. We ended up in the er the next day and my child was much sicker.

We recently moved to James Island, and I really wanted to like Dr. Hutton after reading reviews and after having a Meet-and-Greet appointment with her, but unfortunately her office is not responsive. I get the impression they are either unorganized or over-worked. I called twice, emailed, emailed again with forms they asked for, called again, and I was still never able to make an appointment for my son. I emailed forms Monday morning, and the forms were not even glanced at until I called again Thursday. Many reviews talk about how personable they are, but every time I attempted to make contact, the receptionist spoke to me as if she never spoke to me before, despite multiple emails, a lengthy conversation, and a Meet-and-Greet visit. The last thing she said to me was, "would you like to make an appointment or not?"

I've seen pediatrician's in Alaska, Utah, and Florida and she is by far my favorite!
