Dr. Marty W. Odom, MD

All this Dr. cares about is money and quantity NOT Quality of care with patients. Rude c***sucker! Bad bedside manner. Yells at you if your sugar is elevated! Medications I take for years gives you only 1 refill and have to constantly call for refills. Meanwhile all my other dr’s give 6-7 refills at a time. Dr Odom went downhill. Looks like he hadn’t washed in years and poorly groomed.

horrible doctor, extremely rude to patients and only cares about money.. NO point in seeing him when his PAs blow him out of the water.. wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy!

Love the PA's at this practice. Recently, all of my visits have included Dr. Odom. There is no need for two medical professionals. He does not show the same bedside manner nor compassion. Let me see the PA and get out of the office.

I’m already happy with him being my PCP but still continue to be positive about his staff too . I yet to have any problem with staff even when I call and matter is handled smoothly. If all offices worked like his, life would be less miserable.

I changed to Dr. Odom from a well established practice in Tampa Palms. I found Dr. Odom efficient and thorough. He has a good sense of humor and works well with his PA. I found his style meshed with my own. I hope to have continued good experiences with Dr. Odom and his group.

I have seen Dr. Odom only 2 times. I love to have my follow up at his office. In my opinion, if there were few more doctors like him, numbers of visits to doctors would be less as with his kind of medical attention given to patients, they would be getting better faster. He does not ignore any health issues even if he is not the one treating those conditions. He has very friendly but professional personality. This does put patients at ease and so less stressful. He seems to know details of his expertise and appropriate medicines for those conditions. I feel fortunate to find him as my PCP. I’m also s medical doctor which also gives me perspective about his professionalism.

Sarcastic, rushed, revenue driven. Forget him if you are 20 lbs overweight. Spends more time lecturing than doctoring. Never going back.

My daughter had a critical appointment misbooked by Devon C. in Dr. Odom's office. My daughter had to drive from Lakeland to Tampa to be told she could not be seen at that time due to their office error. When we asked for an explanation and some sort of compensation for their error, the office manager Joann refused - saying that though it was their office policy to charge if a patient missed an appointment, the same principle did not apply to Dr. Odom. And Dr. Odom refused to call us back to discuss.
