Dr. Marva Lanette Souder

Dr. Marva Souder has been my doctor for more than 30 years and counting so I do know a bit of her professionalism and ability to assist a patient. She has always listened and did what was necessary to get accurate diagnosis and answering any questions. Always takes a minute to ask about personal life and family and always smiling, putting you at ease. For a female reproductive doctor or any other type physician, none can beat the level of trust you can have with Dr. Souder and her caring ways, making sure her patients get the correct and complete care.

The initial visit was alright. Her bedside manner was okay that first time. I really liked her nurse Mary who was always very friendly and helpful. The time that really turned me off towards Dr. Souder was when I called to get a prescription refilled. Mary called me back and said that Dr. Souder said that she did not prescribe that medication to me. I said well that's odd because Target said you did and your name is on my prescription bottle. Another time when I got my mammogram and the results were sent to Dr. Souder for a follow-up. Did I ever hear from her to discuss the results? No. Finally her nurse called me. There were too many things that didn't happen that should have happened. There was another time when I called to get my medicine refilled, they said their computers were down (that happens, I can understand that) I called again a week and a half later and they were still down. So by now I haven't have my medicine for almost two weeks. So I called again and… said couldn't you just look at my chart and the receptionist said this was EMR (Electronic Medical Records) but I finally got my med. And now, I find out that she has moved to another location. I never heard anything from the office that she moved and never received anything in the mail. You think that would have been a courtesy to her patients. But I had decided a long time ago I was going to someone else. There were just too many mistakes. My sister is also patient and she didn't know Dr. Souder had moved either. She said she will not be going back to her also.

Dr.Souder,has great bedside manner,she has a listen ear .Althought she has not contacted me back regarding my result,I think overall shes a great Dr. Her nurse on the other hand seem to have an attitude when you call and see if any of your result came back.I was...... a new patient.

Dr. Souder is always very Professional & Personable. ! She always has the time to explain her diagnosis and talk with you on a personal level and never keeps you waiting.I love her and would never change. !!! I have been a patient of her's for 15 yrs.

Dr Souder and her staff are the BEST! I love her so much! Dr Souder listens with her heart! If you are looking for a WONDERFUL Dr, "This Is IT! Stay Blessed!

Dr. Souder is an excellent physician. Her bedside manner and genuine concern for your well-being is evident each time you see her. I appreciate her honest, sincere feedback as my physician in a specialty that can sometimes cause for awkward discussions. She makes you feel comfortable, even when you might not be.

She is a great Dr., love her bedside matter, listens well, she is there for you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Souder's for at least 15 years and I wouldn't consider changing. I trust her implicitly! She has a gentle manner and gentle hands. She also has a good sense of humor. And, as a parent herself, she understands the issues we women deal with.
