Dr. Marvalyn Elizabeth Decambre, MD

Dr. Decambre went above and beyond in caring for me and my family. I can see from the 1 star reviews some people may not know how to take her bluntness, this is one of the reasons I know she cares so much. She has a passion for helping people on a level higher then any Dr. I have came across. she doesn't sugar coat anything and I thank her for that. She made sure I understood everything drew pictures if need be, she really took her time with me I didn't feel rushed or like she didn't care, like I do with all other Drs.. She has done two surgerys on me both of which she did an outstanding job. She went over all results and imagines with me and really was very thorough with every step. This 1st surgery I had with her I was in the ER with a blockage from a stone and she was there quicker then anyone expected she was getting into her car as the nurse was calling her. Thank you so much Dr. Decambre for the care you have given me while your here. I will miss you being here when you leave.… You gave me faith that there are caring great Doctors out there.

She saved my Daugthere life

She practices at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie Pa now. My opinion is that she was professional, listened to my concerns, was not hurried, good bedside manner. I appreciate having her as my Urologist. I will be seeing her often for Peyronies treatment hoping to be cured in the near future.

If you are looking for a great Urologist, you need to look no further. Dr Decambre is wonderful. She diagnosed a very rare condition in my daughter when no one else could!

My daughter had surgery in the past at Children Hospital San Diego to assist in breaking up and removing stones from her right kidney. The procedure went smoothly and we knew to expect blood, but when we saw the blood in the bag the next day we were scared. My wife and wanted to make sure our daughter was okay and Dr. DeCambre was not on call. She had given up her phone number to text if we had questions. We did and because we were anxious and we did not have a specific expectation of whether Dr. DeCambre was going to get the message or not we called the on call person too.Almost immediately after having spoken to the on call urologist, Dr. DeCambre contacted us and had the same response as the on call person. My wife and I were very satisfied with her care, concern and prompt response even though she was not on call from Dr. DeCambre. We never felt our daughter's health was in any type of jeopardy, we simply had the usual type of concerns of a loving parent. Dr. DeCambre responded to… us in a timely manner, and did, and always has provided our daughter (and us) with excellent care.

She has been quite wonderful Doctor since she has diagnosed my 16 year old son with bilateral urinary reflux. The Nephrologists and she worked as a team to get my son through this difficult ordeal. She performed a lenghty surgery and corrected the problem. Her manners, professionalism, patience and time frame spent with us and at hospital with my son was enormous. I recommend her highly and she has been seen by her several times after she left the hospital and will see her and the Nephrologist in the future as well.

Dr. Decambre was exceptionally thorough and competent. She took time to explain what my child needed, made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Decambre has been seeing my 2 girls for the past 6 years. She is an amazing Dr. She may not be an entertaining Dr. but she is very knowledgeable and cares for her patients. It was very hard for me to have my 18 month old undergo Deflux surgery but Dr. Decambre really inspired me to be a strong Mother and do what was in my baby's best interest. She may not always tell you what you want to hear but she tells you what you need to hear. She cares very much for her patients and never makes my girls feel like they have a problem that is incurable. I am very pleased with her care and thankful for her knowledge.

My daughter started with Dr. Decambre when she just turned 2. With so many issues concerning my daughter, Dr. Decambre never think twice in taking the case. From that day on, she never stop reconstructing my little girl and made a milestone on our lives. I wish she will stay in San Diego area, she has taken care of my little girl with utmost care and expertise. Now, at 6, my little girl wants to be a doctor like Marvalyn Decambre. Because of how this awesome doctor, not only she encourage our little patient to be brave but to be a good and awesome doctor too someday...Thank you so much Dr. Decambre!! Dr. Decambre is very passionate about the work that she is doing and it showed through her knowledge and care for our child. My son had to have surgery and we were very knowledgeable about the procedure and taken great care of every step of the way.
