Dr. Marvetta A Scott, MD

Dr. MarVetta Scott was my dr. for 10 yrs. She NEVER diagnosed my diabetes. She prescribed a medicine to which SHE KNEW I WAS ALLERGIC. My pharmacist said I DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT take this medicine. A friend also left this dr for same reason about an Rx. This dr. should be disbarred; told Dr. Bat's office about these things, but never even got a call back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE & DOCTOR IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!!!

After trying several recommended doctors and not getting what we needed, I did some research and found Dr. Scott for my aunt's care. Over the past 6+ years, Dr. Scott has worked miracles with an extremely complex set of health issues, including 2 auto-immune issues, diabetes, heart issues including quadruple bypass and other chronic conditions. Dr. Scott's diagnosis is always spot on. She refers us to the best-in-class specialists when needed. Her compassion and follow-up is second to none. She is patient, spends the time she needs to make sure you understand and agree with the course of action she recommends, and treats you with great dignity and care. I think she's absolutely brilliant, and when you add in the level of genuine care she provides and her overall performance, she has to be the best internist I've ever seen. I believe she has not only extended my aunt's life but she has improved the quality of her life beyond anything hoped for. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

Very detailed oriented. Spends as much time with you as needed. Communicates via email and phone calls.

I have been seeing Dr. Scott for about six months for a variety of small issues (HTN, cholesterol, etc). Thus far, I have been very pleased, especially by her bedside manner. I always feel like she listens to me, and never feel like I am being talked down to or lectured. I've never had any problems scheduling appointments when I need them, and their early morning walk-in hours are very handy as well, especially during flu season. The only negative that I have experienced is that the wait time during visits can sometimes be a little long (30-45min), but that happens everywhere, so it is certainly not a dealbreaker. Thanks!!
