Dr. Marvin Lowery Beck, MD

New parents should be advised that Apache Drive Children's Clinic, headed by Dr. Lowry Beck, will purge your child from his care without warning and with absolutely no apologies or compassion. When my wife and I were finishing our college degrees, we were fortunate that our son never got sick. In the chaos of graduate school, and my master's thesis, we didn't bring our son to a couple of annual wellness checks. I don't recall ever receiving any reminder emails or text messages like every other clinic in town utilizes. Despite over a decade of loyalty and recommending his office to our friends with newborns, we learned that we had no primary care physician on file when we were forced to go Urgent Care due to it being on a Saturday. Had their office not been closed we would have taken him to Dr. Beck because he has been our child's physician since infancy! He's ALWAYS been the PCP! As a result of being purged, we remain saddled with hundreds of dollars in out-of-pocket costs because… insurance denied the claim. Dr. Beck's office refused to acknowledge our long patient history, and ignored a letter we mailed to him asking for his office to reconsider. Beck also ignored attempts to reach him via social media. I would have never left this review had they simply treated us respectfully. I want to note here, that this doesn't reflect upon any the of the medical staff other than Dr. Beck. The Physicians Assistant and Nurses, despite being overworked, have all been diligent professionals every time we have been in there. The office staff on the other hand has deteriorated since Covid. From the lady who checks in people at the door, to the other younger lady who checks patients out before they leave, to the older ladies who work the back end, ALL of them were cold, discourteous, and apathetic. The person who made the decision to refuse to backdate our Saturday appointment wouldn't even give me the courtesy of telling me to my face. Ultimately, Dr. Beck has left our family shocked, hurt, and with an avoidable financial burden.

PA nor doctor washed their hands before approaching my son. Also there was not soap in two of the rooms. When I did find a bottle of alcohol foam to cleanse my hands with they just had it sitting on the counter. The floor and patient table were both nasty and there was a 4x6 area of sheetrock paper missing from the wall in our room.

Will not listen to concerns, he's in and out doesn't care for care about the kids, he's only in it for the money. Dnt take ur kids to him if u do your child needs to be took away from you.
