Mark my words , Dr Bleiberg will the next doctor caught up in the opioid epidemic scam. It’s a straight up pill mill in there . The wait is anywhere from 1-3 hours every visit . There is a reason for that . The patients themselves said that they are there just for the meds . He loves to keep you coming back every month so he can bill your insurance . Dr Bleiberg also and the staff also gets paid lunch everyday from drug reps because of all the prescriptions he writes . I only know this because a staff member made a comment to me about it . Just be aware , this doctor does not have your well being in mind and he doesn’t care to put you on highly addictive pain medications . When you walk out of that office your prescription list will be longer than a CVS coupon .

Office should be investigated. Bleiberg is a fake.

Spine and Pain stands for inject you with lots of needles around your spine and cause you lots of pain! Then they send you home with nothing and tell you to take ibuprofen when you get there. This doctor only cares about making money.

I went to Dr.Bleiberg for an evaluation. He was wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner and agreed with my other doctors that I can no longer work., He respected my religious beliefs concerning conventional medicine. I have referred on patient and will refer more if they have pain.

In my professional opinion, this office is more about what money they can bring in than helping the patient. They schedule patients to come back more often than they should, perform procedures that are not FDA approved and thus most insurance companies will not pay for, refer patients for more testing than what is needed, impose ridiculous restrictions (i.e. walk no more than 10 minutes with a rest of 30 minutes), disables patients based solely on information they give and not on physical exam. He values himself and his skills as being better than others, and his attitude shows it. Some patients have had good luck with him but usually because he caters to what they want. A long wait for a good physician is not unusual and while it might be frustrating, I figure that the physician is usually listening to them and exploring their problems instead of rushing out. The wait for Dr. Bleiberg is not warranted in my opinion, unless you are hoping for disability or pain medications. If you… question anything he recommends, he will discharge you.

I have been treating with all of the providers at Michigan Spine and Pain. I feel they are all really great people. They all are very competent in what they are doing. You do have to wait awhile to get into the office and once you are there do plan on waiting for extended amounts of time. My feelings on the wait time are these; Does anyone like to wait for a doctor? The answer is most likely no. However, it is worth the wait to know I am seeing the very best there is. There is a long wait time as so many people are being sent to this office. What does that tell you? Crappy Doctors don't get referrals from other Doctors. Is this office for everyone? The answer is No. You could send me to your beloved Dentist of 35 years and I get there and don't like them. Guess what, not everyone likes every person they meet. How many primary care's have you gone to before you found the "right" one? While I sit in the waiting room for my appointments I observe the people coming in and out. … I watch the staff checking out a patient while an impatient person keeps interrupting them because there need is so much more important. All while the phones are ringing. Other staff come up and help when they come through. The staff sit and smile while these ignorant people scream at them and treat them horribly. I watch patients storm out because they want their "pain" meds. Yup, I believe you when you say "What a joke this place is" because they won't give you your meds because you are busy on the weekends snorting cocaine. The best one was someone failed their drug test because the pee they bought online must have been bad!! I have been treating here long enough to realize the patients who comment on here are the ones who are doing illegal drugs or they are addicted to prescription drugs. Its not really the doctor's fault you would rather be a addict then get help. So when your mad you sat in the waiting room for to long, thank the person who came in because they think they are smart enough to lie about a medical condition they don't have so they can fulfill their drug abuse problems. The time the doctor took to treat this patient as if they were there for actual treatment and then be yelled and cursed at he could have been in seeing those of us who are sitting waiting for actual help. Don't read these angry comments from people all bent out of shape because they didn't get what they demanded. Educate yourself. Call the office ask questions. Think with your own brain. If you are TRULY in pain and want help this is the place for you.

Waited 5 months to see him drove 3 hours and refered by my family doctor he was retiring. First visit he gave me medication that was over $500 ins didn't cover it and he knew it and they don't do prior atth there so I called next day and they asked for list er medication cause he said he will not write script for what I was on for months from family doc oxycodone 20mg 6 times a day. He said too many people are abusing it so I said ok I'm fine with er stuff but ins only covered ms contain and fentanyl only er they paid for and already tried morphine and am allergic to it. So he tried to give me OxyContin 10mg twice a day big decrease there but still couldn't afford that either so he set me up to get shot in my back and I told him at apt my step mom died from getting one done in her neck and he looked at me like I'm a lier so I kept apt cause he said I needed to get shot before he tried giving me something else. I called my dad and he said no epidurals are approved by fda he knows… because he sued doc that gave my step mom the shot My dad even told me if doc don't believe me he'll fax over the autopsy report which clearly states how she died. So I called fda myself after I called doc office and asked them what med it was told me depo metro and ask nurse if it was fda approved she said yes so called fda found out no epidurals are approved anywhere by the spine and doc use it off label at there discretion and got call from office that day telling me he is no longer seeing me cause I called up with concern about getting shot but only called to ask if what med it was and if it was fda approved I never got a chance to call them back and tell them I called fda and found out no epidurals are approved around the spine cause of the danger from it. Only approved for use in between joints and inter muscular use only. What a way to treat people threaten that u won't try any other med until I got the epuderal done even though I told him I lost my step mom 4 years ago from getting one done. And when she got it done right when they pulled needle out she had ever system of stroke and they did nothing and she coded 8 hours later then they finally gave her mri and nuro doc said he never seen so much blood on someone's brain and this was first hospital in state of tenn to be a certified stroke center at skyline drive hospital in middle of Nashville. That shows the way doc are anymore they only care about money and more money. I would not recommend this doc to my worst enemy if ur a chick ur ok I have a few people I know that go there and he treats them like gold and one barley has anything wrong with her at all and he dopes her up with 2 different instant release stuff which he told me he don't prescribe. Both my hips are shot, siatic nerve pinched bad, 3 hurnated bulging disk, and 2 ruptured disk and pinched nerve in mid back. And the young pretty girl I know that goes there has one bulging disk in her back and nothing else oh besides big you know what, that is what he likes from what my experience is. My wife went to all my apt too and she is discussed in how I was treated. She was lpn for 8 years and got out of health care cause all the bad stuff happening around her doctors where doing. So if ur young and a girl you'll be set with this doctor. Beware

I'm treated like a person. Not a drug seeker. The staff is just wonderful. They are kind and couteous. Would recommend him and his staff.

I cannot say enough good about Spine and Pain and what they have done for me! I went in here after an accident, in 2008, in excruciating pain, almost two months afterwards with very few answers, and they found them for me! I was having shoulder pain, well that was because I was suffering from a torn rotator cuff general practitioner missed! I had broken ribs, a torn meniscus in my knee, and developed RSD after the shoulder surgery that was caught very early on by one of the wonderful, very well trained physical therapist's there. RSD is pretty rare, and it takes a trained eye to catch it, and I am so glad they did! I was able to get treatment early on, preventing me from getting worse faster! This is an excellent clinic, with excellent treatment available to those of us in pain. Like you have heard before, and it holds true here, good things come to those who wait! Yes, we do have to wait sometimes, cause they are good, and sometimes busy!:)
