He had diagnosed me with ibs 15 years ago even though my symptoms only matched because he only heard the words "constipation and diarrhea" and didn't pay any attention to the rest of the symptoms. The recommendation to help the "ibs" symptoms made me worse. I was then correctly diagnosed after my symptoms had gotten WAY worse and I became so ill that I could barely walk, 6 years later with ovarian cancer. They removed a large cluster of tumors one of which was 13c x 9c x 8c. (not ibs btw) Cancer free and the issues went away. Very unlike ibs. Then a couple of years ago I had similar but very different issues and was sent back to him by my doctor. Even after being told that I had had cancer and that is what was causing my issues he refused to accept that fact and still diagnosed me with ibs... AGAIN. My symptoms (again) had gotten much worse and I had been CORRECTLY diagnosed with severe Hashimoto's disease. Again... not ibs. Every doctor that I have talked to about it agreed that if… it was ibs then the fix would not make things worse and it does.
