Dr. Marvin Micah Chassin, MD

I had a really positive experience with Dr Chassin at Ironwood this week. I was able to get a new patient appt scheduled with Dr Chassin in less than 48hrs. His office is next to the Banner Desert hospital, right off the parking garage. The staff was polite and the wait time was minimal. I have never had a doctor spend as much time listening to my symptoms, then spend a lot of time interviewing me about my medical history and my family's medical history. He gave me a very thorough physical examination, and answered all my questions. He had an unhurried attitude which was really helpful, and allowed my wife and I to ask all the questions we had, and he was very positive on the treatments and explained the further testing that I need to have right now. We left this appointment with much less anxiety about my health and treatment, clear on what it is and what it's not, and am grateful to have been able to get in so quickly with an experienced oncologist.

I have been seeing Dr. Chassin for many years and let me just tell you that I will be devastated when he retires. He has been by my side through the roughest years of my life, and though I am very comfortable with Ironwood and think the staff is wonderful I will be sad when the day comes that I need to change docs.
