Beware!!He Put in my knee implant sideways and I was released with a life threatening infection, went back into hospital immediately, then I had to have it corrected by another replacement only 3 months later! Severe damage now for life! Many other failures at same time, one lady lost her foot because cast was put on wrong. Every where her goes this happens then he runs before he can be sued. Check his history moves about every 2 yr to run from malpractice!

Put in my knee implant sideways(toe pointed at other foot and bent back) and I was released with a life threatening infection, went back into hospital immediately, then I had to have implant corrected by another replacement only 3 months later! Severe damage now for life! Many other failures at same time, one lady lost her foot because cast was put on wrong. Every where he goes this happens then he runs before he can be sued. He should be jailed or disbarred. When he ran from Lake City, Fl. there was a group of about 15 persons he had damaged that I knew of. More came forward later too, but statues of limitations ran out before we found him. He has been in many states and owns no business so suing is useless.

Beware!!! in Lake city fl he did major damage & malpractice! I had a knee implant, he put it in sideways! It had to be replaced within 6 months! Another patient lost her foot due to a cast put on wrong! My new doctor referred all of us 20 that I knew of to a lawyer only to find he had skipped town. this is the 6th state for this runaway act. he stays hidden till the 2 year mark then you cannot sue him that is why his record looks clean. If I could I would ride up there and picket this place, but the damage he did is lasting and cannot be totally fixed, but I am blessed to still have 2 legs, unlike the other lady. Even discharged me with 104 fever and a raging infection!

I fell and broke my shoulder and had two severed rotator cuffs. My arm was dislocated at ER for 7 hours before he should up and the put his leg against table and yanked it out. He did not recognize break and did not order MRI. Said it would improve by Christmas. This was October. Went to Orthocarolina after never getting anywhere with him and they said it was a very bad injury and his lack of action cause a lot of scar tissue. They operated right away. 2 years later and I am still limited in ROM. This guy is a quack! Don't; go there. Travel to Charlotte or Asheville for a real doctor.

I had to have my knee replaced within a year. As I'm allergic to percoset, I told him that. He gave it to me anyway. When approached by me about it he said, 'Well, I guess you're pretty much screwed'. To my face. A nurse got it changed with another Dr. My knee was bad after 4 mo. and when I went back, he didn't xray or even look at it. He suggested a second opinion. I went to my previous ortho Dr. who had moved to Ga. He concurred it was bad and I had it redone. No one should go to this guy. There are good Dr. in Asheville. I am sending a copy of the reviews to the hospital administrator.

This is the worse Orthopedic Doctor I've ever dealt with. I was awakened from joint replacement surgery with no local no drip, no nothing for pain. I was panting like a dog with the worse pain of my life and this was allowed to go on for some time. I blame both Dr Vice and the staff a Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City for this.The least those people could have done is told me this was going to happen and I could have opted out of my surgery there, but not a word. I was never given an explanation for this, what I consider, sadistic treatment, as if there could be any excuse.Beware.

warning i know of several malpractice cases including mine. moves frequetly too avoid lawsuits. cannot even get a lawyer because the know his reputation and lack of insurance. my total knee had to be replaced within 1 year due to him putting it in crooked and slightly sideways. i know of one lady who lost her foot due to a broken ankle because of the cast put on it.
