My spouse and I moved to Fort Gratiot in 2007. I was referred to Dr. Shuayto for a very rare condition "tarlov cysts of the spine". He was compassionate and concerned, all the while hoping to relieve some of the pain. He has helped me along for the past twelve years in dealing with my condition. I have never desired to change doctors or seek help elsewhere. Dr. Shuayto is up-to-date on the latest procedures and what will work well with each patient. Dr. Marwan also takes time to listen to your questions, simply the Best!

The Doctor is extremely well educated. I was shocked when I met him he knew things about my condition just by looking at me and taught me new things just in our first meeting. He’s kind and caring. You only meet him once or in the hospital otherwise you meet with his PA she is a nice women but didn’t care about me or the truth of my situation. I’m legally blind after telling her my eye pain was preventing me from doing my online classes to finish college she suggest I get my online courses on an audio CD? How one does an online class on a cd I don’t know. If such a thing even exsists and I wanted to tell my professors I needed classes on tape because I was in pain why would I change my learning style from reading witch I have accomplished despite my vision problem to audio at age 30 because I have a pain problem just because she doesn’t feel like writing a prescription that her boss the doctor had no problem writing for years. I feel that comment was an insult to my disability, and it… was disrespectful not to mention ignorant: she purposely ignored my reason for being there and didn’t help me for no reason at all. Also with every appointment at this office they want to push you into doing their tests or preceedures. You never leave an appointment without an MRI a trigger point, or EGT. It seems like they want their money’s worth atleast the PA does. Doctor is fantastic though.
