Dr. Mary Adar, DO

The one thing I suspect is difficult to teach doctors is bedside manners. Because a certain level of care comes from the actual nature of the human being who chose to become a doctor. So to find a doctor who’s bed side manners go beyond expectation is rare. This is Dr. Adar. As a cancer survivor I have met hundreds of doctors, it’s the reality of fighting cancer, however the benefit is that you come to identity doctors who care with doctors who do their job. Both correct. But different. Dr. Adar in my opinion falls in the top 5% of doctors who I have met, trust and respect simply because her bed side manners go beyond expectations. Her follow up call to ensure I was well was surprising, because doctors rarely do so. She is informed. She is attentive. She is simply the type of doctor I wish we had more of.

Due to my scheduling mishap, I lost the opportunity to see my regular doctor so I was assigned to Dr. Adar for an immediate health concern. Her demeanor is kind, truly connecting with me and thorough with information and reasons for followup. Her medical approach is measured so she is careful in prescribing meds or tests unless necessary. She is cautious with all possibilities, including side effects of meds and procedures and is willing to give options for any medical need to suit the patient. I am post menopausal and she was thorough and thoughtful about my needs in that area as well. She is a find and genuinely interested in her patients’ well being. I recommend highly and am so grateful to have found her.

I was very please with Dr Adar services, she empathetic and through with my exam. Dr Adar went as far as requesting that I return the next day with my report and scheduled me for another referral. I will continue to utilize her services. Thank you Dr Adar. A

I wouldn’t recommend her. She was sloppy and greasy looking like she cooks fried food in a fast food joint and comes straight to work as a physician. Gave more advice... suggested baristric surgery over diet and exercise when she herself weighs more than the patient by at least 100 lbs! She gives modern day practice a bad name. If you go to bed you’ll be disappointed.
