Dr. Marybeth Elizabeth Anderson, MD

Terrible. If I could leave 0 stars I would. At 10am she was running 1+ hour late. When I left exam room to ask about a timeframe she acted callous and dismissive, instead of apologizing or offering an expected time for my care she suggested I "reschedule" if I could not wait longer. This was after waiting in the exam room 1 hour and 15 minutes past my scheduled apt time. I left without evaluation or treatment.

Dr.Anderson was very proactive in my care. I can’t thank her enough for her excellent care of me. I am very sad that Mercy in Clinton, Iowa did not do more to keep her there.

I love going to her as my doctor! She listens to my concerns and makes sure I get the information I need to understand my issues. She talks to me straight and genuinely cares about my well being. She is very thorough and to top it off, she is a very talented surgeon. No one likes to have surgery, but when you need to, it's great peace of mind to know my doctor could fix the problem and make me feel so much better. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Anderson was awesome. I had difficulties from the start and she was able to handle everyone of them without hesitation. She explained things in terms I could understand and told me what options were available to me. She was supportive and always willing to take the time to talk to me and calm any fears I had or to answer questions. She got to know me as an individual and treated me as that not just another person in a long line of people waiting to see her. She was by far the best I have had in my 43 years. I would take her again in a heart beat.
