I truly cannot find enough words to express my gratitude to Dr. Hopkins. Her high professionalism eased me into my inguinal hernia surgery and it was a complete success. The operation was very fast and efficient. It has been 4 months since the procedure and I feel great. I have very little scarring and the recovery process was also smooth and quick as well. I was referred to Dr Hopkins, by my gynecologist for a mass that was believed to be an inguinal hernia. She ordered a special MRI (instead of my gynecologist) because she knew I have endometriosis and was frustrated that my gynecologist still didn't have clear answers on the mass after seeing her for years. The MRI found that it was not a hernia, but instead a hard endometrial mass. There were other areas of concern including a STROMAL TUMOR on my left ovary. When I got the results, I was a wreck. I called and emailed my gynecologist’s office crying and begging for an emergency appointment. I finally got an email from my doctor saying that I would have to be booked on the regular schedule. Scheduling said it might be a week or two until she was free. Meanwhile, Dr Hopkins called me within 30 minutes of my results and calmed me down. She recommended another gynecologist Dr Erica Dun at NYU, who was able to fit me in the next day. To be clear, Dr Dun’s schedule was PACKED… but her office and Dr Hopkins found a way. Dr Dun is amazing. Dr Dun and Dr Hopkins made a surgery plan and will be operating me in a month. I couldn't be more grateful to have Dr Hopkins on my team.

I HAD DOUBLE HERNIA REPAIR SURGERY WITH DR. HOPKINS AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. BESIDES BEING HIGHLY SKILLED, SHE WAS WARM, SENSITIVE AND COMPASSIONATE. UPON COMPLETION OF MY SURGERY I NEEDED ONLY ONE ADVIL FOR A MINOR DISCOMFORT. I HAVE NOW RETURNED TO MY GYM, EXERCISING AND FEELING GREAT. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND DR. HOPKINS WITH THE HIGHEST OF PRAISE.

Reading the most recent reviews makes me sick as her office also screwed me over and made it VERY difficult to have a follow up. Which in theory, is outrageous! How can a surgeon never follow up with you and check in post op? Unheard of. I doubt anyone from the office even reads or cares about their precious patients but in the case they do - feel free to reach out of me as I’m happy to show the massive scare you've left me with :(.

I had my hernia repair with Dr Hopkins in 2017, and she was nothing but amazing. I couldn’t schedule a follow up with her because the staff was getting in between and kept giving me the running around. They sent me to one office later told me it was another. When I went to the other office they told me she doesn’t see patients in that office. I called to schedule and it looked like they didn’t want to schedule the appointment because they kept saying she was on vacation. Then, when I called back the sent me to a different office. I gave up from following up with her because of all the drama her staff were creating. She gave me the most amazing belly button but I am still dealing with some scar tissue I think. I gained a little bit of weight after the surgery and I am now back to the gym trying to get my body back to where it was before I went through these surgeries. Thank you so much Dr. Hopkins. She is just fantastic. Get your hernia surgery with her because she will not disappoint.… She is the best. Thank you! Daphney
