Dr. Mary Ann Mckee, MD

She came into the room and told me before I even opened my mouth that what is going on with me….by the way I have a well documented TBI, and said it was all in my head. My husband and I couldn’t believe it. She didn’t examine me at all she had her mind made up when she walked into the room it’s so evident. She told me that there’s nothing wrong with me when I started crying out of frustration she told me very sternly WHILE LAUGHING that people don’t usually cry when they find out there is nothing wrong with them! At that point I realized this dr definitely doesn’t care about patients. I picked up my stuff walked out and then proceeded to call the hospital and make a complaint about this woman I suggest everyone that has a bad experience needs to let the hospital know this woman cannot go on treating patients like this with no sensitivity to their condition or symptoms and does not offer to help in anyway. Stay away do not go to this dr she is horrendous

After being told it would take four months to schedule an appointment with Dr McKee, I tried calling back to see if I could get an earlier appointment and was unable to contact anyone and/or leave a message. This blatant lack of communication does not inspire confidence....

She came in to my appointment already with the mind set that she would not help, stating, "I talked to your previous doctor. he can't help and I have nothing to offer you either." This was before she ever examined me or talked to me. she stopped me from filling out the patient info form saying "I'm not going to need that" and never once looked at it. Condescending, curt, uncaring... avoid this person if at all possible...

Very discouraging, she took for ever to come in exam room , stood across from from me finally looked in my eyes and ears , ran no testing then requested I go to a holistic healer lol

I am sure Dr. McKee is very knowledgeable, however, her bedside manner was horrible. She performed a perfunctory examination (I've seen other neurologists to know it was extremely basic) and pronounced that my issue was not neurological within approximately 8 minutes of walking into the examination room. She was quite rude when I asked basic questions regarding my symptoms. I am not arguing her conclusion as I am still in the process of diagnosis, however, I would not recommend her to anyone who does not already have a clear diagnosis with very obvious symptoms (which will be seen in about five minutes of examination).
