Dr. Mary Ann Barnicle, MD

I chose Dr. Barnicle for my colonoscopy because she was recommended by my PCP. She was great! Very easy to relate to and listens to what you are telling her! She has been amazing with follow up care and really has a caring demeanor. She cares for you as a patient as well as an individual. I highly recommend her if you are having gastroenterology issues! She’s a keeper. ??

She discovered my Celiac Disease during first colonoscopy! I didn’t wait years for this diagnosis as many others have had to do. She is always kind and takes her time to listen.

I was worried when I had some bleeding issues. I chose Dr Barnicle for my colonoscopy (wanted a female). Boy am I glad I chose her. She was the absolute best and made me feel at ease and took care of my problem. My mom has had the other two male docs in Indiana that routinely do scopes and her care and attitude was much better. I wont go to anyone else. She was wonderful and so was the staff at IRMC outpatient.

Office staff is friendly, but office is a little unclean. Be prepared to wait; 15 minutes with the doctor will run 2 hours total.

Receptionist at the window (I think her name is Nichole) lacks the look of cleanliness. She looks as though she just rolled out of bed right before work and looks rather homeless. The other receptionists are not very polite and talk loudly about other patients. Dr. Barnicle has actually helped me somewhat with my issues, however, the wait time is ridiculous and she needs to hire better staff.

Receptionist 'Nicole' has the worst attitude and disregards any urgency of medical attention.
