Dr. Mary Herndon Berg, MD

I think this lady needs help herself because she is very boring, and has lack of interest in her patients .Maybe she needs some sunshine in her life because her feelings is written all over her face.

She really seemed to not be listening to what I said at all. When I told her my previous diagnosis she looked it up in a book and said" ok, that's what you prescribe for this", as if she was talking to herself. At the end of the session, she looked at my file and said next week we'll talk about your life age 0-5. I think my insurance must pay for only a certain number of visits which she checked.

Dr. Berg saw my 27 year old daughter after being in the hospital for mental issues. The first visit my daughter was so drugged up from all the medication the hospital had put her on she slept the whole appointment. The next appointment my daughter went back by herself and was back out in 5-10 minutes. We ask what happened and she said, I told Dr. Berg I was doing good and she said I could go..... This was so far from the truth and anyone with any common sense would have been able to tell that!! WE WERE SHOCKED! Nine months later my daughter still has major issues!

I have never seen such a rude, listless and disinterested doctor. She seemed to be the one depressed and not me. She never even asked about my symptoms. A piece of paper would have more empathy and care.

Disliked everything about her. Seemed bored and listless when I was describing my issues. I had to ask her questions she should have been asking me! Seemed annoyed at times, and seems to be on staff simply for a pay check. She most definitely initiates a negative image of Pisquah. Are these reviews being checked by those who should be aware of who they have on staff/comments by patients? If so, why is she still at the facility?!

For a while she did well with the meds. Later on, she got worse and worse. She even got me so drugged up I got into a car accident! Buncombe county is really bad for public transportation and it's expensive to ride taxis. She's also rude and insensitive at times. And she charged sometimes $70 or $90 for just a few minutes of her time. Not much giving of advice either. I would not recommend this doctor!

Was referred to her from an eating disorder therapist only to discover Dr. Berg doesn't even understand eating disorders. She told me to lose weight. Waited over 30 minutes for her to literally ignore everything I said and write me scripts. She's the worst doctor I have ever been to and cannot stand, actually DESPISE dealing with the office she works for.

Seemed as if she didn't listen to a word I said prescribed meds I don't think will be benafficial to my needs. She seemed like she was high on her own meds. Would NOT reccomend to anyone who is looking for a responsible caring health care professional.

Never had we had such a horrible experience as with this total unprofessional and careless woman. She is a complete discredit to her entire profession. We changed after three horrific visits.
