Dr. Mary Gabrielle Bolton, MD

I was going to PMO for a year and absolutely loved the staff. One day, I go in and there's new management and it's now called Integra Health.....none of this bothered me until Dr. Bolton "worked" with me. She walks in the door, does not introduce herself or even shake my hand, which was very odd...she goes right into grilling me for being there for a year. Without even getting to know me, my history or who've I've worked with in the past, she just looked at the folder in front of her and goes "Why are you still on this? Are you even making an effort to get off Suboxone? It's been over a year and you're still her. It seems like you're just taking advantage of this place." After her borderline interrogation of me, she looks at me and goes "Have a nice summer"....and NOT in a nice way, whatsoever. I've never worked in the rehabilitation business, but to act like that towards a patient, whom you've never met before, is completely unprofessional and rude. I walked out of there STEAMING… with anger that a doctor just treated me like a POS. It was humiliating. She almost made me want to relapse. The next day I told them I wasn't coming back and that I found a new doctor, which I did, and I've never been better. If you want to get better, there are FAR, FAR better doctors out there. Dr. Bolton, if you ever read this, which I hope you do, I just want you to know you're a terrible doctor and should't ever be aloud to work with addicts. You'd be great being a grumpy librarian.

Dr. Bolton does not just treat symptoms and send a bill. Her rich background in research seems to keep her investigating and reading the newest medical information after the office visit. Going the extra mile on my behalf to get answers, taking the time to call me at home and following up with written information after my visit tells me she really does care about her patients. And I should add, her thoroughness was very important to my medical future as well as my sisters.

bedside manner poor. only seen one other MD in my life that was so opinionated and pushing their agenda when its a conflict of interest to the company they working for. been going to PMO for many months and she just came on board recently. Seen her twice and waited nearly an hour both times without even a courtesy stop to let you know she late. Btw all previous appts were great and I normally am in and out in 15mins. Its pretty bad when you cant open up to doctor for fear of belittlement or forcing changes your not comfortable with

I have never had a doctor spend more time with me during a visit, or examine me more closely, or give me a more detailed explanation of my condition then Dr. Bolton. I am very grateful for her care.

She helped me to resolve some very serious back pain and eased chronic stomach pain as well.
