Dr. Mary Callam Brandes, MD

Dr. Brandes can be likened to few other doctors I've had, in the time taken with a patient, and follow-through including being a kind caring individual. As an older woman I've had many gynecologists, obstetricians as well as surgeons during my life, and only three of those remain on my best of the best list. Currently needing serious surgery in 2022, Dr. Brandes rescued me (quite literally), and from the success of my recovery I can further personally attest to her skills as a surgeon. She also has a very superior staff around her, which I imagine is due to her own diligence and screening. I feel fortunate to have found her.

The surgery performed by Dr. Brandes was life changing for me and I will be forever grateful for her expertise, kindness, and overall professionalism by her and her entire support staff.

i chose dr brandes because of her expertise. unfortunately, that didn't prevent me from suffering botched surgery at the hands of dr brandes. not only was the surgery unnecessary, it has resulted in, to date, 5+ years of suffering and pain which will no doubt result in additional surgery.....but not in this state (maine). never.....
