Dr. Mary A Bray, MD

I didn't feel like my questions were being answered. It seemed like she just wanted me to start with the treatment. I went for an initial consultation and they wanted my partner to give sperm that very day. Without seeing any of my files or even knowing what the problem was. They made me retake bloodwork twice and wanted me to do it a third time until I put my foot down.

My ob dr send me to dr bray. When i come her office i did already my all blood work in my ob's office. Dr bray want me to give all blood work agin if my medicaid covers. I asked the accounter in the office and she told me that my medicaid covers all blood work. And i let them do the blood work 6 months later they send me a bill that says i need to pay them $3000 because my medicaid didnt cover it. Also after my first iui dr bray dindt take care of my feelings she just want me to pay more money because i didnt ovulate easily so i use their ultrasound so much. Can u imagine that? I was almost crying because of negative result but she just say pay more money! Dont go there!they just care about your money. They couldnt make me pregnant. 3 times they did iui and she want me to do ivf. I just give up for 6 months and 4.month i got pregnant myself. Just be careful they will try to steal just your money and your hopes

Dr bray Is one of the best doctors I have been to, it's shocking to see the few bad reviews because she is definitely a great doctor. She knows what she's doing, very knowledgable and great at what she does, she is an old fashion no nonsense type of person! Thanks to God for guiding me to her. Her staff? Thy are so sweet and kind, they made me feel like family, my daughter is one going on two very soon and they are still part of my family, I really formed a great bond with dr Bray and all her staff. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great Dr. Do not hesitate to check her out because of the few bad reviews, trust me, if I had gone off of those I wouldn't have met one of the best Dr around. If I am blessed with baby number two naturally, that would of course be awesome, if it doesn't happen that way back to Dr bray I go gods willing.

Dr Mary Bray is very RUDE, OBNOXIOUS& VERY JUDGEMENTAL!!!! I would not reccomend her to anyone.

I went to Dr. Bray's office in hope to get pregnant. Her staff was exceptional and very accommodating. However, I rarely met with Dr. Bray during my cycle appointments. She has her nurse do the bulk of the work such as prescriptions and information about follicle growth. Dr. Bray does not analyze lab work and search for solutions. She is quick to recommend IVF instead of finding the root of the problem. Trust me she will try to wheel you in with questions and comments such as "what would you do if you had triplets?" and " you have a 50% chance." These statements are used to give you hope but its pure crap if you can't find out what is wrong.

I wished I had read these reviews before I went to this doctor. After the experience I had I decided to research her and to see if others shared my experience. The reception staff members were courteous however I totally agree with the opinions that Dr Bray is rude and condescending. When I tried to ask questions she acted as if I was not allowed to do so. I found her to be reluctant and dismissive; she acted as if she wanted to start an argument and during my asking questions she started going through papers on her desk (nothing to do with my appointment) and then proceeded to tell me to have a good day and to close the door after I leave! I just could not believe it. I left the office in shock and confusion as I could not understand why she acted that way. Five minutes later I called the office and asked if I could be re-assigned to another doctor, but to be honest, after my experience I just could not go back and I was so distraught about the whole experience that I felt… that I needed to take a break from the whole procedure. It has now been over a month and I now feel that I can start again but definitely somewhere else hopefully a better environment. I am not searching for a doctor to be my friend just one that is respectful. I do not know why Dr Bray acted in that manner maybe she had a bad day, maybe she was not feeling well but there is no excuse for being unprofessional.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She sucks!

Ladies and Gents, This doctor sucks. I met with her at RSNY in Brooklyn, where she was filling in for my regular doctor, and was pretty shocked by how she presented my lab results. She gave us a diagnosis we had never heard of before - but didn't explain what it was, what it would mean, what the risk levels and probabilities were, etc. Basically she left us to google it and make our own appointment with a genetic counselor 3 weeks from now after my husband gets his blood work back. She said, "use condoms" and alluded to using IVF to cut down the risk. Fair enough if that's what's needed, but give us a sec to take it in and help us make sense of it, please! She only answered our questions once we insisted on a second sit down with her, and even then she was really brisk. The upside was a super wonderful receptionist who gave us a hard copy of the results to take home. Thank you! Everyone deserves a nice doctor, and that's definitely not Dr. Bray.

She couldn't remember my husbands name. She's very rude and condescending. If you need to speak with her for a second about something, even if she's in her office you have to make an appointment first. After one or two visits - I never went back again.

Horrible bed-side manner. Very rude. Becomes defensive when you ask questions. Didn't even acknowledge my partner's presence in the room. Seems to have no respect for the health care consumer. She seemed to just want us to sit and listen to her and then get out. I have had great experiences with other providers at this practice, but hope to never be seen by Dr. Bray again.
