UCHealth Aurora is NOT URGENT CARE. It is cleverly disguised by putting the word "emergency" on the front door of something the size of my garage. I protested my bill because I believed, based on the size of the FACILITY, (they are springing up everywhere), the service and ALSO when I walked in there was not anyone there to assess my problem, I sat around in the waiting room bleeding while someone finally appeared at the counter. Well turns out this is SUPPOSED to be a real EMERGENCY ROOM. HAHAHA What would happen to someone with a real emergency???? Compound fracture, heart attack, stroke, These poor sick people would have to be carted to a REAL EMERGENY room, not this shabby place that looks like someone's garage. DO NOT GO HERE. GO TO A REAL EMERGENCY ROOM. This place is someone's idea of a place TO TAKE YOUR FOR YOUR MONEY. Again DO NOT GO HERE. To be fair they should disclose they are NOT URGENT CARE. I have talked to them - all of them - until I am half crazy. They won't tell you… they are going to bill as though you went to a REAL hospital, they keep that a secret so they can jack up your bill for minimal service. WORST RIP-OFF in the COUNTRY.
