Dr. Mary Chao, DO

Dr Chao has been my doctoer for over 5 years. I have only good things to say about her. Very dedicated with patients and takes her time to carefully listen to you. Works hard in getting you the correct help needed. I have had difficult issues medically and she was the mayor part of heading to the correct sub specialist. Does not let go of you health until things are unresolved. I would recomend her to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Chao since I moved to this area, about two years ago. I find her to be very responsive to any concern I might have and excellent at listening. She will follow up with clarifying questions which lets you know that she is not only paying close attention, but that she is trying to find out what will most help you. She spends adequate time with me at every visit to make sure we cover everything on my list.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chao for five years. She has a wonderful "bedside manner," is very knowledgable and thorough, and never makes me feel rushed. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Chao has too many patients and not enough time or her office staff is incompetent, possibly both. My father has been waiting to be cleared for surgery for a week while her office does not respond to phone calls requesting lab results. Her office never calls with lab results when ready without us having to call and request. We are on day 3 without a return phone call and surgery has been postponed as a result. This is maddening! Run from Dr Chao! Find a doctor who cares!

Mary is very kind and thoughtful and thorough. I like it that she makes eye contact.

She diseminates everything to you. Willing to talk to you over the phone instead of pulling you into the offie for simple things. Always on top of things, as is her assistant S. Great general practitioner, go and see her if you need one, you will not regret it!
