Dr. Mary K Courtin

I had a similar experience with the dentist mentioned in a previous review. I decided to voice my complaint with Dr. Mary Courtin, the owner of the practice. The dentist in question was promptly sent on his way. My family and I give excellent reviews for this honest, professional and well educated, skilled staff. Highly recommended by a former dental professional!

Dr. Courtin did 2 crowns on my teeth, I have had extreme sensitivity to cold from the day they were put on my teeth, the process of getting the crowns was not good, could not get me numb, had another Dr. come in and he was so ruff with the injections that months later I still have a scare from it, my mouth hurt for weeks after so I went to a different dentist. The new dentist took x-rays and told me that the crowns Dr. Courtin put on my teeth had open margins and would need to be replaced. I went back to Dr. Courtin's office to have them look at my crowns again because I really can't afford to pay out of pocket for these to be replaced, Dr. Courtin never even bothered to speak to me. They took x-rays and said that they believe the margins are fine and because I did not buy a night guard from them that Dr. Courtin would not guarantee any of the work she did. I was shocked. Then they tried to sell me a night guard. If you want your mouth to hurt and have work re-done then for sure… go to this dentist otherwise go to a different one.
