Dr. Mary E Cronin, MD

She replaced a doctor that had been at the RDC for many years. The clinic automatically transferred your care to her replacing the wonderful physician. THIS doctor does NOT like being questioned about anything. She thinks because she has the MD next to her name she knows it all. From her age she is of the mindset that patients do not question the doctors. I wouldn’t recommend. Look elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr Cronin for over 3 years. The longer I see her the more thoughtless she becomes with my care. She does very little as far as an examination, and asks personal questions that have nothing to do with why I’m there. The last straw was when I had my eye exam and the Dr found what could be a serious problem caused by a med I was taking. She sent the info to Dr Cronin who didn’t address it at my visit. I asked her about it and she quite rudely said ask your eye Dr. I asked her if I should quit taking the medication. She said “if you want to “and gave me no options for a new medication. So here I sit with symptoms worsening and nothing to take. Don’t bother.

Dr. Cronin was new to a practice that I went to for over 10+ years and was extremely rude during visits. Even the nurses seemed to be on edge around her. I can deal with a straight shooter, but when she doesn’t take the time to listen to your problems, she will dismiss you and belittle you quickly. I’m happy to have found a new rhumetologist who listens and is active in my care. My diagnosis was not black or white so therefore Dr. Cronin didn’t care to look any further. Would not recommend.

I don’t feel she listens. Her answers to your questions are very limited. Usually one or two words. She has her ideas and does not want to budge on what she thinks and prefers you to go along with that, without asking additional questions.

Remembers everything, listens, encourages patient to be involved with care, through. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cronin.
