Dr. Mary Margaret Delaney, MD

Dr. Delaney is one of a kind and an expert in her medical specialty of OB/GYN. She goes above and beyond to ensure you as a patient are comfortable during your visit, the exam, and with the information she is providing. She has been my doctor for 20 plus years and I feel very fortunate to have such a well-respected Doctor in her profession as my doctor. If there are openings for more patients to join you would be very fortunate to have her as your OB/GYN and will not be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, very nice and warm atmosphere. Dr Delaney was very focussed and spent a lot of time with me (as a new patient), wanted to get to know as much as possible of my medical history.

She is a nice person I suppose but as a doctor, she is awful. Not only does she literally come in to the room to complete the pap smear and then leave immediately, leaving no room for conversation, but I felt that Dr. Delaney was extremely judgmental of my sexual choices and I did not feel comfortable asking her about any embarrassing questions I had. I asked her one time to get tested for STD's and she didn't do it! I called the office and then saw her again and both Dr. Delaney and the office told me that there was no test on record and Dr. Delaney told me that she had not taken the test. I also told her that I did not like taking birth control pills because they made me depressed and I told her about my history and struggles of depression and she still recommended that I take the same brand of birth control, so I felt that she was not even listening to me. I will never go back to her.

You feel like you have met the doctor before. She is quite thorough.

This doctor saved me from a hysterectomy. She is highly regarded by her colleagues. More importantly, I have found her consistently thoughtful and helpful in managing challenging gyn and menopausal problems that have come along way. I'd recommend her to anyone. And, as for her staff, Alex is terrific.

Mary Delaney takes a personal interest in all of her patients. I would trust her with my life! She is thorough and compassionate...the kind of Gyncecologist you would want your daughter to see.

While Dr. Delaney is generally a very sweet person, she was very removed and one-sided about a specific issue I had with my birth control. She did not provide any alternatives to handling my condition and basically made me feel like my only option was to be in severe pain month to month. I went to my primary care Dr. and she suggested I try a new version of birth control and it has worked significantly better than the one Delaney had prescribed. I felt extremely limited and like I was walking on eggshells when asking for an alternative with Delaney. Also, not a fan of the front staff. I asked for my records and was bluntly cut off and snidely told you have to send in a letter/fax requesting them and that over 6 pages, they'll charge you. I've already forked over $200+ each time for a basic visit for years now. The least you can do is give me my records.

Dr. Delaney was the nicest doctor I have ever been to. She helped me with my problem and her bedside manner was fantastic. I would highly recommend her to anyone young or old!
