Dr. Delduca has been my physician for 11 or 12 years. Beginning when I was in an extremely stressful profession, she accurately provided care and advised additional care with another therapist, who I did see for a period of time as well, Dr. Roxanne Witte. I am a human who does not seek medical attention from anyone unless absolutely necessary. Over the years, into retirement and with life's adjustments to aging, I remain a patient, and see her when I feel I need to keep things in check. Throughout the years Dr. Delduca has remained a stalwart guide to my stable mental health with accurate assessments and medication when needed and only when needed. Her follow-up is excellent and her knowledge of the newest information is vital. I highly recommend this very capable personable and steadfast physician.

Beware! She bills for psychotherapy when only general questions were asked like how are you doing with your boyfriend how is work going. I made my appointment for 30 minutes before I had to be to work and she always billed for a full psychotherapy session when I was in and out of the office and to work on time. She also billed for a med check appointment. But, that is all she should have billed for. When I questioned her she was rude and aggressive.

I saw Dr. Delduca for a period of about 5 years, during which time I was very grateful to have her support and guidance. Being on certain medications definitely opened up new possibilities in myself and my life that had either been very elusive or altogether absent up until that point. Dr. Delduca is a very warm, obviously caring, and genuine person, things that I truly appreciated and needed. I put a tremendous amount of trust in her guidance, which served me well until it didn't; and, when it didn't, it was too late to backpedal. With very little warning about long-term hazards, I was kept on Xanax (alprazolam) for nearly 5 years and it was ultimately only my own deterioration and subsequent choice, rather than her suggestion, that caused me to take action and slowly ween myself off of this medication. This deterioration presented as completely new symptoms I had never before experienced, such as issues with memory, cognition, and attention; irritability; feeling emotionless and… empty; and not feeling a part of my surroundings; and others). It has been over two years since I first became aware of the damage that Xanax was causing, and over six months since last taking the drug, and I am learning that the recovery/withdrawal process after being on benzodiazepines for an extended period can, for a sizeable minority, take a year or longer. I think very highly of Dr. Delduca as a person, and in many regards, as a doctor; yet, just as her guidance and medications opened up wonderful new possibilities in my life, they later slammed shut far more doors than they had ever opened. I hope this review is helpful as you make a choice among doctors.

Dr. Del Duca is very nice and appears to be very caring. However she failed to diagnose a very obvious, emotionally debilitating set of physical symptoms I was experiencing. Fortunately through experimentation and finally confirmation on the Internet (FREE!!) I diagnosed the problem myself and am seeing a naturopathic physician. definitely not worth the many thousands of dollars I spent seeing her at an in-patient treatment facility where she was advertised as the psychiatrist/functional medicine doctor.

This woman is not in the business of healing but of "pushing pills". She gave me a dangerous Rx that caused birth defects before giving me informed consent. Worse yet, she failed to order a pregnancy test before doing so. As a woman of child-bearing years, this was not acceptable for me. Dr. Delduca is prone to making misdiagnosis and serious mistakes in "treatment". A Dr. should empower her patients, not belittle them. Her DSM labels were not helpful. This woman then proceeded to destroy my medical records without first informing me that she intended to do so prior to the 7 year AZ Statute of Limitations. Her unethical conduct hurt me as a responsible individual who had only suffered from sleep deprivation while caring for my small toddlers. She transformed me into a "mental patient" for becoming a Mother. I was psychiatrized for simply being a human being. Avoid this so-called mental health "care" professional at all costs. She will do iatrogenic harm to you, in the name… of "help".

Dr. Delduca is the most professional amazing doctor that I have ever had. It's been three years since my first visit with her, and my life is better than it ever was. Doctor Delduca is gentle, genuine, and caring. She spends extra time with you if you really need it. Dr. D has made me feel like her own daughter with all the support she had provided me with. After having to put me in the hospital, she never backed down. She always treated me like the human being that I am. I'm so proud of Mary, she has really perfected her job. A great go-getter woman!!! I'm telling you that there is no better psychiatrist in the world :-)

As two years have past since my first visit with Dr. Delduca, I feel more alive than I ever have. She treated me as if I was one of her family members struggling with an illness. She took all of my concerns to heart and gave me accurate information and advice on how to conquer my fears. I couldn't ask for a better doctor! She is so trustworthy and friendly that I always feel welcome to see her. She is an genuine, clear spoken woman that has the highest intentions for all of her patients. I honestly couldn't ask for a better doctor!
