Dr. Mary Ellen Behmer, MD

Dr.Behmer was my pcp for 11 years.I started seeing her at the West 150th office.Then she expanded her practice to the Rocky River office.I kept seeing her at the Rocky River office until she retired last May. When I went to see her for my appointment on May 10,2023 I was crying in front of her. She's a very compassionate ,very knowledgeable ,very smart,very bright , very friendly , very througouh , very understanding , easy to communicate with, not judgmental , caring , helpful, a great listener , she returns calls in a timely manner, she has excellent bedside manners, always on time , she explains my test results in a timely manner, very kindhearted , sweet, always has a smile on her face when she enters the exam room ,very focus on her job as a doctor,very positive and trustworthy. She never misses a beat.She was like my confident.I miss her more than ever.I'll always be faithful to her though she's retired now. She's the BEST doctor from Metrohealth Medical Center that they had on… their staff.

Dr. Behmer is excellent. I have used her as my internist for about 10 years. She is comprehensive, accessibly located in a satellite office and willing to listen to concerns. MetroHealths test results are communicated by the department and this Dr. in a very timely manner and all phone calls are returned in that business day.
