Dr. Mary Anne Facciolo, MD

Dr. Facciolo would not check a lump on my breast when I brought it to her attention. 12 months later, it showed up on a mammogram. I have subsequently been through nine months of cancer treatment.

I made an appt for my teenage daughter to be seen to begin her first ever annual visit/exams & to get a prescription birth control pills. It was to be her first ever gyn visit/exam/prescription to be her annual check ups. My daughter is college age, not sexually active, but 3 months into a her first ever boyfriend, and it appears things are moving fast with those two. I thought it best to prepare, just in case, and have her on birth control. This doctor merely talked to my daughter during the Routine visit r for a few minutes, passed along a prescription for birth controls pills and sent her on her way, then billed my insurance $220 and listed this actual Routine Annual Care visit as a SICK visit, thereby causing my insurance to bill me $129+change of this $220 fee and for WHAT? Dr. Facciolo did nothing..no exam, no breast exam, no teaching of a breast exam, no real medical advice whatsoever, just take the money and run. I called to speak with her about it and she brushed me… off, saying to me that we're never going to agree on this so there's no point of further discussion. Her excuse, however, was that while my daughter was there, my daughter mentioned that when she gets her periods, she has very painful cramps and that she's hears that birth control pills can help girls to have lighter & less painful periods. Dr. Facciolo is claiming that because she mentioned painful periods that she can list it as a SICK visit. My daughter came in for a Routine exam, covered by my insurance in full as "preventative care", but Dr. Facciolo only sees dollar signs. We will NOT be going back to this woman EVER, highway robbery! Do not trust them to accurately list your care with your insurance.

I love this doctor. I have been going to Dr. Facciolo for years. She is very kind and gets right to the point! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Awesome friendly staff, small office, really liked Dr. Facciolo. She is kindly and no-nonsense.

I haven been going to Dr. Facciolo since I was 18, I am 32 now. She is easy to talk to, is blunt and is very easy going. As a nurse myself I know I am not an easy patient and Dr. Facciolo has been great! Her practice has the patient portal which I have been using a lot since trying to get pregnant. While Dr. Facciolo no longer does obstetrics she has been working with me to help try and conceive. Her and her staff at both the Bel Air and Towson office are courteous, helpful and prompt in answering questions and returning phone calls.

This woman is rude, closed minded and incompetent and shouldn't be practicing medicine. She wasn't able to diagnose a serious problem which another doctor was able to find immediately.

I was experiencing heavy bleeding two weeks after the birth of my first child and asked to be seen by Dr, Facciolo. She refused. Afew hours later I was in the hospital hemorrhaging. She is not trustworthy and careless.

I hadn't been to see a gyn in almost 20 years, but Dr Facciolo put me at ease and was not judgmental. She was very personable and made the experience so much more bearable. I will definitely see her again in one year, not twenty!

I had to move and still drive to see her except when I am pregnant.
