Dr. Mary Louise Magnusen, DO

Dr. Magnusen may seem nice, but don't be fooled. She does not read any reports that come back from specialists. Her nurse is SCARY & should not be a nurse for children, my son was afraid of her, her name is Gloria, not to be confused with Dr. Magnusens partner Dr. Gloria- whom is a man. The office staff, I can't even list how awful & rude they are, they leave u on hold so long u have to hang up. Dr. Gloria is even worse, I brought my 6 month old son there for bad stomach pains, he stuck his head in the door & said "Change his formula is all I can think of"- Did NOT even examine him!! I felt embarrased that I had my son undressed thinking he would be looked at. My mother died from a heart attack, we later on found out the specialist sent Dr. Magnusen the results back with 3 blocked artery diagnoses, HBP, etc & she never called my mother to tell her or what to do to follow up. She also prescribed me vicoden for 5 months for fibromyalgia, then when she went on vacation, the nurse would… not refill it for me, nor would Dr. Gloria (even though I've seen him before.) I explained to the office staff & manager that you cannot just stop taking this drug abruptly due to withdrawl symptoms, the bride of Frakenstein nurse Gloria told me to "Go to rehab". I was in utter shock. Also the A&P pharmacy even talked bad about her! My father has high blood pressure and was on a medication from Dr. Gloria, he then prescribed my Dad a new pill & told him to take it, well the combination of the two had a BAD reaction and off in the ambulance he went. Also, by law u do not have to pay ur co-pay until after u see the Dr., yet thats the first thing "JoAnn" will yell out for as soon as u sign in. You will wait to see Dr. forever because they are way over the limit of patients to be a normal funtioning office, the files cannot even fit on the shelves, I believe they schedule every 10 minutes for a patient!! I can tell u much more, but it will never end...Lastly, they take every insurance possible from expensive Prudential which I had, (thinking I would have great care), then found out they took Medicaid. Money hungry.
