I have never come across a more understanding and compositionate doctor than Dr. Gootjes. I’ve had numerous miscarriages and she tried everything she could to give each baby a chance, even when we both knew the chance was minimal. She then recommended me to a specialist and has been so understanding about my fear with this pregnancy. I’ve had her call me herself for delicate results; instead of just leaving that to other staff, so she’d be able to answer any questions I might have as explain in great detail. I wish she could be my doctor for everything!

I have been going to Dr. Gootjes for almost 20 years. My three daughters also go to her. Truthfully, we wouldn't see anyone else. She has delivered two of my grandchildren and I trust her implicitly!! She is a gem!

You cant find a better doctor in Holland, If I didn't live in Holland, going to see Dr. Gootjes would be worth the travel. She is honest and dependable.

We found Dr. Gootjes after getting pregnant with our first child. I couldn't imagine a better Ob/Gyn! She listens, has a sense of humor, takes interest in you not just your medical needs, and has a warm heart. She supports whatever your desires are for birthing and birth control. She gives honest advice without being pushy. She herself called with results from tests rather than the staff, and the staff asked her my questions when I called instead of only getting to a nurse or NP. We ended up having her try turning our breech baby and having a C-section and I had all but trust in her skills.

I love this lady! She is the best OBGYN I have ever been to. She had to tell me about cancer cells and I ended up having a hysterectomy, but it saved my life and she was so great ad helpful. She even called me at home after hours to give me the results of my report. Very caring and accurate. THE BEST!

I had Mrs. Gootjes when she just started at the medical center. I was pregnant, and I ended up having a miscaraige. She was there for me and made me feel supported when I was going through one of the worst times in my life. I would and will not ever go to another doctor in my life. She is mine, and my family's doctor. We are glad.
