Dr. Mary Elizabeth Griffin, DO

How lucky I was to be referred to Dr. Griffin. I have found a dermatologist who is thorough and knowledgeable about skin issues whether it be medical or cosmetic. Upon my initial visit concerning sun damage I was immediately struck by her perfectionism which is a tremendous plus for patients dealing with all phases of her practice. I have complete confidence as she ushers my skin into the next decade. Kudos to the Doc and the office staff in Bala Cynwd!

I saw Dr. McComb for a yearly body check. She seemed to rush through my check up. I was concerned and surprised when she left the room. I asked the nurse if that was my full exam. She said 'yes'. I told her that I was not comfortable with Dr. McComb's thoroughness. She sent Dr. McComb back into the room. She was visibly annoyed. She asked me what I thought was not thorough about her body check. She then said 'now that you mention it, I don't like this spot on your cheek'. I found that odd, as I was not wearing make up, and my face was most visible. She said she would take it off. As she approached with the numbing syringe, she said, 'so you know, this is the most sensitive area on the body'. It was so clear what she was doing. I don't think her ego would allow her to admit to a mistake...much less on my face. It was clear she was getting back at me for questioning her.
