Dr. Mary Clare Guiglia, MD

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to see Dr Guiglia for my annual skin physical. However, I’m glad I went because she was excellent as was the entire team. Dr Guiglia was prompt, engaging and professional. I’m a fan.

Very rude. Should not be practicing. She said a small place on my forward looked very strange. That she’d never seen anything like it. So she biopsied it. she took iso much out that I Now have a dent in my forehead. It came back nothing which I’m glad about but she should see enough to know it could have been frozen off. There were some things on other body parts she used liquid nitrogen on and said she had to charge $150.00 for that because it was considered cosmetic. Other physicians have done the same thing and it was covered under the copay.

I have ben going to Dr. G for over 15 or so years. I enjoy her efforts and she takes the necessary time with me when I have to see her. I still have a couple of areas where I have some excema and psoriasis, so that's a bit frustrating. I know there is no cure, and I trust how she is treating these maladies is minimizing the condition.

Do NOT waste your time with Guiglia, or with the DAK practice at all. You will wait months for an appointment only to find that she is rude and conducts her exams in a manner that is humiliating. She did not explain the diagnosis and did not return visit information to the referring physician.

Waited very long time for a new patient appointment. She was not helpful in any way, and her manner implied that I was to blame for my symptoms. Left humiliated, frustrated, with no more understanding or hope for my symptoms, and facing a $150 office visit charge for nothing. I will never go back.

We have been under the care of Dr. Guiglia since our son was a teenager with a really bad acne problem twenty-three years ago. She did a great job treating the problem and we have stayed with her for the long haul. Her professionalism is fantastic. Very good doctor.
