Dr. Mary Harward, MD

Dr. Harward is a super physician. She listens well, explains things well. She is extremely thorough, keeping the patients needs very up to date. I hope I never loose her as my physician.

Dr. Mary Harward comes highly recommended by other doctors in the area of Orange, California. I have been going to her for about a year. Her office is easy to access, no pay parking, and it's freeway close. She does not have an office staff she makes her own appointments and greets you when you walk into her office. When I call she either answers or her response time is short when I leave a message. If I don't need to talk with her (i.e. just need a refill) she is great about getting that done. She greets me when I come into the office or I read in her waiting room - she even has a library of shared books there with comfortable seating and is clean. Dr. Mary Harward is great about listening to me when she comes into the exam room. She sits directly in front of me and gives me her full attention. She has sent me to some of the best doctors with a speciality when needed and for the appropriate tests. I recently had a reaction to getting off of a medication and she supports me in my… method of getting off of it. I do wish I knew how difficult it was to get off of it when I was ready (1-year later). The pharmaceutical company did not state how hard it was on the information page and she did not mention it either but we have discussed it and I'm on a path of recovery. She is gentle, thorough, efficient, and patient. She expects me to do my homework (I like that) and encourages ways for me to be safe in my home as I am soon to be 70-years old.
