Dr. Mary Elizabeth Van Siclen, MD

Dr. Van Siclen is apathetic and lacks the empathy of a caring physician. Our initial visit was brief and I had to ask more than once for blood work. I have not been feeling well and I wondered if I was ill. The doctor tried to put me off but I insisted on blood work and she finally relented. Sure enough, I had some blood deficiencies. Since the visit, Dr. Van Siclen has failed to provide a referral so that I can treat an extremely painful neck condition that we discussed during the visit. It has been more than 2 months since my visit. The lack of care extends to the entire office staff, who do not let you get a sentence out without interrupting. They are quick to hang up the phone and leave you with unresolved issues such as when your next appointment will be. I have to warn against engaging this physician. I am a senior citizen with severe health issues and Dr. Van Siclen simply does not care.
