She actually did not do what I asked for her to do at all and left me with a very poor cosmetic result. She blamed students.

As a healthcare worker I admire and appreciate a doctor with great bedside manner. Dr. Hertl has one of the best bedside manner I've seen and experienced. I live in the Boston area and had breast augmentation at a prestigious hospital with a very creditable and experienced surgeon. Unfortunately my outcome was not very good and had multiple complications. Two surgeries later I was left with a double bubble. The surgeon claimed I needed an extreme procedure and I just didn't feel comfortable. I thought I needed a second opinion. I met with a few surgeons in the Boston area and wanted to research more. I found Dr. Hertl on the vitals website and read some really nice reviews so I thought I would give her a try. I called and a warm welcoming voice answered her assistant Marsha. Who is just as warm welcoming in person as she is on the phone. When I met with Dr. Hertl I immediately felt like I was in the right place. We talked about my past surgery and what she would do to fix my issue.… She brought up issues that she discovered with my breast that no one mentioned before and I was very impressed by that. She reassured me she could help me and I trusted she could. It has been 4 month since by augmentation and I couldn't be happier! I travel over an hour to see her and don't mind at all. She is worth every mile! I even got my mom to see her and get Botox. She loves her outcome. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Hertl and her staff. I feel very grateful and I would highly recommend her.

Doctor Hertl, from the first time I met her, was amazingly kind & informative. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, underwent a mastectomy & Dr. Hertl did the reconstruction. She made me feel so comfortable & her amazing expertise made me look & feel like a new woman! Time & time again, she helped me through that difficult period in my life & I would recommend her to anyone. Very professional, wonderful personality but most important an awesome surgeon! Dr. Hertl and her staff were awesome. They spent hours with me answering my questions, offering advice and treating me with the utmost respect. Dr. Hertl coordinated her schedule with mine and turned me into perfection! I look and feel amazing! I couldn't be happier with my results and won't hesitate to recommend her. I absolutely adore Dr Hertl and her staff. She did an amazing job on my breast augmentation and love her for fillers and botox. I could not be happier. Everyone comments on my skin, how beautiful it is and it is all due to Dr. Hertl. I drive 1 hour just to see her and it is well worth it.

After losing 260 lbs as a result of gastric bypass surgery, the Dermatologist I worked for at the time, referred me to Dr. Hertl. He told me she was "the best". When my husband and I met Dr. H at the consultation appt, we both liked her immediately! She is very direct and honest about her abilities regarding what she can and cannot/will not do. She basically explained that removing my excess skin would essentially be akin to "making a size 32 dress fit a size 8 body". My first procedure was a Belt Lipectomy with Vertical Abdominoplasty (which the staff called "around the world with a zipper". The second procedure was a Breast Mastopexy, Silicone Breast Implants by Mentor; and Bilateral Brachioplasty. The third procedure was liposuction on the medial and lateral areas of both lower legs to give my legs a more contoured look. As a result of all my plastic surgery, I feel like a new woman! Dr. H. still wants me to have my legs done to remove the excess skin... I'm still thinking about it.… She is by far the most talented plastic surgeon I've ever met. I've referred two friends to her so far, and both women have had work done by her.
