Dr. Mary L Jackson-Hammond, MD

This doctor refused to prescribe an anti-depressant medication I'd been on for years (non-addictive, non-scheduled). My current rx was set to run out in a few months. She told me at multiple visits that "next time" she would rx it. At the last minute when my meds were set to run out, she instead directed me to a crisis center to obtain this rx. This medication can cause seizures if stopped abruptly, as she was essentially leading me to do. The crisis center is now charging hundreds of dollars for what should've been a routine rx by the doctor. Additionally, her office is disorganized. She once asked me to drop something off, and when I got there the office was mysteriously closed for the week. She often seems confused. If she had simply told me up front she wouldn't rx it, instead of repeatedly telling me she would at the "next appt," I would've found a better doctor sooner. I've submit a complaint to my insurance co about her but nothing has happened. So, steer clear.

Staff can't seem to communicate effectively.

Very long waiting time. Doctor seemed in a rush. Doctor didnt call in my prescriptions at all or refill what i needed.

If you have any common sense you would go to see her as soon as possible.
