Dr. Mary Carol Jennings, MD

No empathy. Something is wrong here! So mean just so rude. Listen to the other 1 stars.

I was Jennings patient in the 1990s. She performed multiple brutal "treatments" for my HPV weekly and twice a week for months which lead to an unnecessary surgery by laser. Years later I went to a STD specialist in San Francisco and was told the treatments and surgery were unnecessary and not medically recognizable treatments. They referred me to therapy for the PTSD I had from Jennings. STAY AWAY!

Dr. Jennings has been my Dr. for years (1992), she has always been very professional. Answers my questions, spent the required amount of time with me that the appointment requires. She has always been up front and straight with me. I don't want a Dr. that is going to sugar coat the case. Dr. Jennings is at the top of mmy favorite list.

The bad reviews I've read are not fair at all. I know going to a gynecologist is very uncomfortable and very personal. But in all fairness, are the people writing these reviews putting on their best happy attitude when they see this doctor? I have seen this doctor over several years. I know for a fact that she is a good doctor with her patients well being at heart. SHE DEALS WITH LOTS OF CRITICAL ISSUES. And...she is very serious. So...bad reviewers...you get what you give. Give her a break. It's difficult enough dealing with 20 different personalities a day with different circumstances. I'm not altogether sure any of you could do her job for 15 minutes. It would be good to understand how diverse her patients are and how her day can change from one patient to another. Be real and stop being so self absorbed. She deals with real people with real issues...and she had to deal with you! She's a great doctor!

Not only was practically impossible to schedule an appointment. Their staff are the rudest people ever. I called and they had an attitude. I paid a lot of money doing lab tests that I never got the results. All I got was a voice mail saying "It's negative". Like? And I had to call them maybe 12 times for them to give me the results that took more than a month. And then a few weeks after that I called the doctor and explained I was having a little bit of itchiness on my V area so she send me a prescription for chlamydia when I had done tests before saying I did not have that. And she was just giving me some pills so I would shut up and stop calling her. Two days later I had to rush to the emergency clinic because I was in so much pain and itchiness I couldn't pee for days! And found out I had a bladder infection. Of course Dr. Jennings wouldn't care what my problem was or how I was feeling as long as I wasn't calling her or going there she was happy. One of the worst doctors I have… ever had. The office smells. The doctor is super pushy about nuva ring because she probably gets a good commission out of it. Overall extremely bad experience. Major disappointing. I'd recommend you to go next door to planned parenthood because I'm sure even they can treat us better than this doctor for a fraction of the cost.

I didn't have to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours, and I was able to be seen on the day I needed to get in. Promt and efficient, if your a busy person this is the best place to go.

I only write this because I do not want any other women to go through what I went through. Jennings was rude and demeaning. I left feeling very embarrassed and worried. She has zero bedside manor. I have never felt as horrible leaving a doctors office as I did leaving hers. I will never go back.
