Dr. Mary Lynn Suzanne Kemick, MD

Only have seen her when I first became a patient. She I have been told has her own health problems and I've been seen mostly by a Nurse Practitioner . Lab staff excellent but front desk staff are usually rude or unattentive. Missed appointment because staff gave me wrong date. No improvement in my condition. Only increase my meds and still no improvement. Very little explanation of what's going on with my health. Failure to follow up on my calls or send results of tests. Presently looking for new Docter in this area or in Aiken but hard to find one that patients are happy with them. Also I keep a medical log book for a couple of years with meds, meals ,exercise, how I felt, BP/P, Glucose level etc. done by date and time of day. Waste of time as three different Docters didn't have time or interest in seeing it but Dr Kemick seemed happy with it on first visit but then I haven't seen her once or twice since then. Lastly I once off all meds for three weeks. BP, insulin, lung meds,… reflux . Best sleep, BP only slight increase, glucose about the same. Conclusion-- Docters treating diabetes basically a waste of time and money. Exercise, eat less junk food don't take meds and you will be about the same or maybe a little better. Pharmaceutical company's are about MONEY not cures for the sick.

I was told Dr. Kemick is the best of the best, and I found this not to be the case. In 2008, I was newly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and MAJORLY depressed/borderline suicidal about it. All she did was fuss at me and tell me to get out of her office when I was crying my eyes out. Her dietitian/nutritionist was a rude quack. The rest of her staff were rude and inattentive as well. I've never been treated so poorly by someone in the medical profession.

Dr. Kemick takes the time to get to know her patients. She is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is up to date on current medical practices and is very intelligent. Would recommend.

Dr. Kemick is the best doctor I have come across in awhile.
