Dr. Mary Yuerhs Klein, MD

Poor bedside manner, cuts family off when they try to ask questions, bad mouthed other doctors while patient and family were in the office with her. Seems very unskilled/unknowledgeable with treatment options. Very quick to say “that’s not my issue, try a pulmonologist etc” when asked questions she does not know the answer to after previously explaining that same issue had everything to do with the cancer. Please don’t waste your time.

My dear friend had a cough at the tender age of 40 which Klein said was nothing but 6 months later my friend died as it was LUNG cancer !

Now I know that cancer is very difficult to deal with. My father and brother have been in treatment for several years. I was just referred to Dr. Klein by my family Dr when abnormalities appeared in my routine blood work. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews. My first appointment today went very well. She seemed like a kind person to me. Took the time to explain the test results, which can be difficult to understand. Anyone being referred to a cancer Dr is going to be scared and nervous. Not sure what will be in my future, since cancer runs in my family. But I felt better after the appointment, knowing a little more.

What a mistake! She has a horrible bedside manner with patient and family. Gave us false hope when she talked to us at all. Couldn't meet with her after she said "do you know how sick he is?". Tried to have a meeting to find out exactly what she was talking about and she didn't have time. As her patient was on his death bed, we saw her walk by the room, didn't stop, didn't look, didn't check on her patient, didn't check on his family. Worst experience with a doctor ever. Shouldn't be dealing with people, please, look for somebody else.

Dr. Klein phoned us to tell us she could treat my mother. We praised God and felt we won the Lottery! We were to meet with her the following week to discuss a treatment plan. During that meeting she told us mom is NOT a candidate for treatment. We were sucker punched. Mom died a few weeks later. We feel this should not happen to anyone else. And while at the hospital her bedside manner was rude. When we asked to see moms scans she said she didn't have time. Terrible experience with her. Incompetent? Never on time, rude and don't trust her. That is our experience.

Uncaring and cold,she has no heart! She diagnosed my cancer, but when it came to other issues she would just dimiss them.
